WHY DO WE NEED A BOYCOTT ‼️

as a Turkish ENGENE and a PR student, i need to break down exactly why the boycott we launched this past tuesday is non-negotiable and vital. culturally speaking, we Turks don't play around when it comes to boycotting. it’s a reflex rooted in our history of standing up against injustice. if you doubt our track record when we move as a collective, feel free to do your research.

now, let’s address the weak-ass arguments circulating on twt:

1. cut the "but the members will be sad/hurt" romanticism. we are talking about adults in their 20s who understand the industry, contract management, and professional dynamics way better than we do. stop treating them like helpless kids. in the PR world, fan pressure isn't a "threat" to the artists, it’s actually their biggest leverage when fighting for their own rights behind the scenes. staying silent isn't "protecting" them; it’s throwing them to the wolves of corporate greed.

2. don’t fall for the "are you gonna boycott heeseung’s solo work too?" nonsense. a boycott isn’t a blind, eternal hate campaign; it’s a strategic sanction. our target isn’t the hard work of heeseung or the members, it’s the way Belift Lab operates. every dent we make in their financial reports and brand reputation is our only shot at getting heeseung back and securing the rights of the remaining members.

3. stop being corporate shills. in a capitalist system, the only way to check a corporation is to mess with their bottom line. as long as you stay quiet and "worry about their feelings," the company sees your silence as a green light.

boycotting is a MUST if we want heeseung back. this isn’t a choice; it’s the only real power we have to demand justice.

we have to prove that the cost of an ENHYPEN without heeseung is far greater than the cost of keeping him.
