Jagadguru: Sri Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Mahaswamiji: Understanding Dharma, and adhering to its principles, is our duty. We must be committed not only to practising its principles but also to upholding Dharma, dispelling misconceptions in others' minds, and guiding those who may be going astray or not following the scriptures. There are very few who understand the true purport of Santana Dharma, while others have a poor comprehension of its true essence. Such others can easily waver and be carried away by the non-believers. They easily fall prey to the arguments and misconceptions of the atheists and get drawn away from the path of Dharma. It should be the endeavour of those who have a strong understanding of Dharma to elucidate the principles of Dharma and bring back those who have gone astray. With strong conviction, deep knowledge and clarity of thought, Santana Dharma must be propagated and revived by all those who have a deep understanding, it is a responsibility that must be undertaken. Of late even believers and practitioners are falling prey to the propaganda of the atheists. The practitioners of #SanatanaDharma must stand up for Dharma in a unified voice and respond to the misinformation campaigns on #SantanDharma. courtesy ahambrahmaasmi. org
There are people who have acquired a lot of knowledge(अपराविद्या) multiple educational degrees etc. who state that they do not believe nor do they follow the tenets of Santana Dharma. To them We answer – being educated and knowledgeable it is easier to understand the principles and adhere to as compared to the uneducated or illiterate. Accolades, merits acquired, wealth etc. have no meaning as we cannot reap the benefits in our future births. Therefore, educated individuals should apply their intellectual abilities to understand, practice and impart the essence of Dharma to those who are ignorant or do not have the same mental faculties as them, instead of abhorring Dharma.
Let us look at our itihāsa, Duryodhana, the antagonist, from the Kauravas, had much more followers compared to the Pandavas, as was witnessed in the great battlefield of Kurukshetra. The warriors in the Kauravas far exceeded those of the Pandavas. Looking at this can we conclude that Duryodhana was in the right path? Not at all. Similarly, those who despise Dharma will surely acquire followers, but that is not permanent. However, for those who practice and adhere to the principles of Dharma the benefits will last many births. Hence use your intellect and channelize it to understand the principles of Santana Dharma, practice it and preach it. Do not stray from the path of Dharma nor should you despise it.

👌The meaning of the symbol AUM🕉
The symbol of AUM consists of three curves (1, 2, and 3), one semicircle (4), and a dot.
The large lower Curve 1 symbolizes the waking state - jagrat, in this state the consciousness is turned outwards through the gates of the senses.
The larger size indicates that this is the most common and major state of the human consciousness.
Curve 2 denotes the state of deep sleep- sushupti or the unconscious state. This is a state where the sleeper desires nothing nor beholds any dream.
Curve 3 - which lies between deep sleep and the waking state, signifies the dream state - swapna.
In this state the consciousness of the individual is turned inwards, and the dreaming self beholds an enthralling view of the world behind the lids of the eyes.
These three curves therefore represent the entire physical phenomenon.
The dot signifies the fourth state of consciousness, known in Sanskrit as turiya. It signifies the coming to rest of all differentiated, relative existence. This quiet, peaceful and blissful state is the ultimate goal of all spiritual activity.
The semi circle (4) symbolizes maya and separates the dot from the other three curves. Thus it is the illusion of maya that prevents us from the realization of this highest state of bliss. The semi circle is open at the top, and does not touch the dot.
This means that this highest state is not affected by maya. Maya only affects the manifested phenomenon. This effect is that of preventing the seeker from reaching his ultimate goal, the realization of the One, all-pervading, unmanifest, Absolute principle.

👌Hints for Working in This World🌍
(From Karma Yoga by Swami Vivekananda)
First, we have to bear in mind that we are all debtors to the world and the world does not owe us anything. It is a great privilege for all of us to be allowed to do anything for the world. In helping the world we really help ourselves.
The second point is that there is a God in this universe. It is not true that this universe is drifting and stands in need of help from you and me. God is ever present therein. He is undying and eternally active and infinitely watchful. When the whole universe sleeps, He sleeps not. He is working incessantly; all the changes and manifestations of the world are His.
Thirdly, we ought not to hate anyone. This world will always continue to be a mixture of good and evil. Our duty is to sympathize with the weak and to love even the wrongdoer. The world is a grand moral gymnasium wherein we have all to take exercise so as to become stronger and stronger spiritually.
Fourthly, we ought not to be fanatics of any kind, because fanaticism is opposed to love. You hear fanatics glibly saying, “I do not hate the sinner. I hate the sin,” but I am prepared to go any distance to see the face of that man who can really make a distinction between the sin and the sinner. It is easy to say so. If we can distinguish well between quality and substance, we may become perfect men. It is not easy to do this. And further, the calmer we are and the less disturbed our nerves, the more we shall love and the better will our work be.
— Swami Vivekananda
He is free, he is great, who turns his back upon the world, who has renounced everything, who has controlled his passion, and who thirsts for peace. One may gain political and social independence, but if one is a slave to his passions and desires, one cannot feel the pure joy of real freedom.
