The president insisted throughout the first 40 minutes that he was focused on peace.

Zelensky responded by strongly pushing back on a ceasefire with Russia and demanded that Putin pay for the entire war.

This Zonal Administrator is admitting the defeat the ENDF is facing in the North Shoa district of Oromia. He confesses that the army is being routed by the OLA in this district because his subordinates (whom he berated in the speech) have not done enough to recruit the local youth into the army. While ostensibly talking about the need to ‘convince’ the youth to join the army, he is actually calling for forced conscription. He is mad that the youth rallies behind OLA to which the youth flock en masse almost on a daily basis.

Units of the OLA's Central Command executed a surgical operation today in Caancoo Rob Gabiya, located in Sululta, North Shewa.

The targeted patrol vehicle was neutralized during the operation, leading to the elimination of Commander Legese Seyoum, head of police in the district, and his security detail, composed of members from the ENDF and Oromia Police. Additionally, Sisay Bashadaa, a senior Prosperity Party official from the area, sustained injuries and has been transported to Caancoo Hospital for treatment. The remaining crew members were captured during the mission.

Both Legese Seyoum and Sisay Bashadaa have been playing key roles in orchestrating military campaigns against the OLA and perpetrating acts of aggression against Oromo civilians. Their actions stand in stark contrast to certain lower-level government officials who, despite the regime’s repressive policies, remain committed to public service and professional responsibilities rather than participating in Abiy Ahmed`s war and exploitation of the Oromo people.
