I am working on MATLAB based Vienna System Level Simulator, MININET-WIFI emulator based on Python, is another tool I have used. There are few other tools which I have explored like, Open Air Interface, NS-3, OMNET++, and planning to work on more.

My daily works involve reading latest research papers, writing codes (in C/C++, Python, MATLAB) for the experimental setup, writing sections for my survey and discussions with my supervisor and colleagues.

I moved from India to Greece, which has very contrasting culture. Adjusting into new society is itself a growth of personality, which can be both exciting and challenging (Food..). But I am very fortunate to have supportive supervisor and colleagues.

I live in Patras, which is Greece's third-largest city and the regional capital of Western Greece. The city is built at the foothills of Mount Panachaikon, overlooking the Gulf of Patras. There are islands, peaks, beaches, churches and castles worth visiting.

Extremely high data rate, very low latency, massive number of devices, seamless mobility, very high capacity, reliability, resilience and security, are few essential features of 5G. An efficient RRM protocol will be a key to achieve these goals.

My overall research objective is to design energy efficient radio resource management techniques for 5G and beyond, which will include high rate MAC and RRM protocol design, throughput & reliability analysis and cell association mechanisms.

My area of expertise: Small cells, channel characterization, cooperating network, software defined network (SDN), game theory, resource management approaches. Designing cooperative game radio resource management techniques for small cell network is my current research objective.
