@KuraChihota@FBCHoldings@GGuvamatanga & @JMafume should step up and incentivise formalisation. The developer should get tax credits for every square meter of letable SME space built. For registered SMEs, license subsidies by COH. Gvt should subsidise rentals by giving more tax credits to the developer.
@EntrepreneurFar@ron_chino Basing the new Hilux on the old maybe a good thing. As it stands, the Hilux, Prado, Fortuner, Quantum and now the 70 series all use the 2.8 GD6-based drive train. For fleets, that tried and tested reliability based on a universal power plant may sway any fleet manager's decision.
@Jamwanda2 We watch in awe time and time again as simple things are done so poorly, so inefficiently and so corruptly it's incredible. China is not an African phenomenon. The Chinese relate with every nation on earth. However the nature of those relationships are different
@Jamwanda2 I'm happy to confront this. I don't lack pride. I may lack self-esteem. When I interact with the outside world as an African I am reminded of the simple reality that we are victims of poorly negotiated relationships and sub-standard, selfish execution of our collective vision.
@Jamwanda2 Here sir, you're swinging at ghosts of imaginary arguments I have not made. I have not spoken about Africa. My argument is simple... Macron's description of Europe's stance towards China is admirable and pragmatic in my view. It puts the interests of Europe and her priorities 1st
@Jamwanda2 Well, I made an observation about the clip you posted of Macron, a European talking about Europe. I admire how he frames his argument with respect to their relationship priorities with China. I'm not sure you understood that the clip has nothing to do with African inefficiency.
@Jamwanda2 Yes. He says China is welcome if they invest directly to benefit the growth of Europe in key sectors instead of dumping finished products some of which are sub standard. In summary the investment must be legal, high quality & must transfer technology and grow key sectors.
@matigary The constitution is amended by parliament representing the people, and in some cases by a referendum. In both cases the constitution is amended by the people, for the people. The rest are semantics.
1. Because a 30 person team and $6M ARR is enough to be totally life changing for a founder who bootstraps. If youโd taken VC funding, youโd be a failure both financially and critically at that level.
2. Many great ideas just donโt need that much capital. The constraint of limited funding forces customer focus.
@Bhekzin1818@matinyarare The following three things are facts
1) I am Black
2) I am an African
3) I can disagree with you as much as I choose to and still retain my blackness and my "Africaness" because guess what? I received those by birth and geography, factors that you have no control over.
@Bhekzin1818@matinyarare Being African is geographic. It means you originate from the African continent, which is a vast and diverse area that includes different beliefs and traditional political systems and ideas that are completely different and sometimes incompatible. Africa is not a country!
