It brings me great joy to announce the signing of an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Association of Nigerian Physicians in the Americas (ANPA) & the Medical Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN), to collaborate in the pursuit of accreditation of Nigeria’s undergraduate medical education by the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME).

With this MOU, we are much closer to stabilising and improving the skill set and capacity of our healthcare workforce.

I extend congratulations to Dr Kyari, MDCN Registrar, her team, Dr Chinyere Anyagou ANPA National President (Outgoing) Dr Cliff Eke ANPA National President (Incoming) and the ANPA leadership team on this momentous occasion.

It is interesting that the two youngest of the five writers of our anthem, he and Omoigui, eventually emigrated and became Americans.

Academically, Tunde Ogunnaike was a prodigy in his field of Chemical Engineering.

My son is incredibly PRIVILEGED.

•He is growing up in a two parent home.
•His mom & dad are madly in love after 10 years of marriage.
•He has both sets of grandparents that love & spoil him.
•He is surrounded by a great local community of friends.
•He is read the Children’s Bible, covered in prayer & knows Jesus.
•Our home emphasizes MOVEMENT & being healthy.

And yes, yesterday he sprinted barefoot & shirtless with an ice cream cone in hand to the hammock where his grandma pushed him watching the sunset too. ❤️

There’s this strange ideology now of people thinking PRIVILEGE is a bad thing.

I want my children growing up with every privilege possible & believe every parent should want & work hard to give their children the same.
