5/5 @airindia Is WhatsApp an authorised channel for staff to transmit passengers’ passports, financial records and third-party IDs?
Who received my documents, where are they stored, and will they be deleted?
I am also raising this formally as a data privacy complaint.
1/5 @airindia I had a deeply concerning experience at your Chandigarh (IXC) check-in counter today while travelling IXC–DEL–SIN on AI2602.
I understand airlines must verify passports, visas and destination entry requirements. That isn’t my complaint.
4/5 What concerns me most: the agent photographed my passport, Singapore visa, bank statement AND my host’s Singapore ID, then sent those images to someone via WhatsApp before issuing my boarding pass.
I was never told who received them or why.

To the general Canadian population: International students fund your institutions, run your businesses, and keep your economy afloat. It’s time to acknowledge their contribution, not undermine it. Bow down.

Ever since Canada announced caps on international students, the reactions have been polarizing. For many students, it feels like being tricked into a Ponzi scheme. But the media narrative has been entertaining, to say the least. #Canada#InternationalStudents

Declining per capita GDP. Imminent layoffs. Builders pulling back without foreign money in the market. Canada’s economy can’t sustain itself without international students. Respect where respect is due: we’re the backbone of your growth. #Immigration#EconomicGrowth
@AirCanada The dire state of your fleet is evident when you find a soaked up tissue being used to reduce the rattling noise in the plane. Incheon-Vancouver
