@amorriscode UX is still bad compared to Cursor 3, Conductor or T3. I just use the VS Code Claude extension and open sessions in tabs for best overview.
@briancoords@mattmedeiros Malware snuck into their codebase recently and they didn’t even bother to inform their clients about it, me included. Feels very bad. Support has been degrading too. I still use it though as there doesn’t seem to be a dev friendly solution on the same par.
@adriankuleszo WordPress isn’t outdated, it just has a bad rap because 99,99% of its user base has no clue about web development or design. It’s very flexible and performant if you know how to use it properly.
@LuckyMediaDev@astrodotbuild Very insightful post. One thing I personally haven't figured out about Astro is how to achieve a page builder like setup where clients can create pages and add pre-defined components. How do you do that?
@dustinhyle I agree, Elementor is a mess these days. But so is the block editor. It’s completely unusable. Put it in front of an average user and they can’t get anything done. It doesn’t even have responsive controls…
@goldkey@kiwicopple@cursor_ai@supabase I think this is what Supabase CLI is for https://t.co/TaDw1EFo9f
I tried to get it to work but kept running into errors so I’m still copy pasting the sql.
Like you said, a seamless process like on Bolt or Loveable would make things so much easier.
@rexan_wong@Shopify@cursor_ai If it was my business I’d be looking to minimize costs right from the start by using an open source solution like @payloadcms or even Woocommerce.
@daveloodts@PoeHaH It has been very well known actually. Popular with amateurs though. Support is fast to reply but never actually helps since developers are swamped. Reasonable requests are denied or pushed out months in to the future.
