startups will raise a seed round and immediately:

buy the .ai domain
order the branded hoodies
write a manifesto
announce it all on linkedin to 40 people

the most expensive mistake i see tech companies make:

shipping constantly and posting nothing about it

"we ship every week" means nothing if nobody saw it

a competitor shipping half as much but posting all of it will eat your reputation while your product is objectively better.
