I had an absolutely brilliant conversation with Steven Moffat about "Boom," the latest episode of #DoctorWho. Quite a few thought-provoking nuggets in here 💙https://t.co/rQvCyr3tVT
I’ll be here less and less as 2025 approaches. Then I won’t be here at all unless completely necessary for some reason that I cannot imagine at this time. I am sad but I’m over it.
Also Bluesky is a vibbbeeeee ☺️
I got to see #TheOffBrands again tonight (virtually this time) and it was even better the second time around! Such a heartfelt & lovely depiction of Black teen life in the 2000s that is SO REAL. The entire cast and crew is fantastic.
As Solange once said, this ish is for US ❤️
The Off-Brands is a coming-of-age film set in 2004 that follows Constance, a quirky teen who wants to be known in her southern high school for something other than being sickly.
We are SCREENING in a city near you (COLA-ATL-DC-TLH-LA)!

Joi inspired me to go ahead and create the page! I'm on Bluesky and that's where I will spend more of my time, especially in 2025 as I pursue a project in honor of my mom. https://t.co/8ayZ3DVcyP
If you are looking for something lovely to watch to take your mind off everything, check out Homegrown on Max. It follows Jamila Norman, a Black woman who left her engineering career to create an urban farm in Atlanta, as she helps others create gardens/farms in their own yards.
Note: A lot of the projects on the show are large scale and expensive but many of the helpful tips and tricks that she offers can be adjusted to fit your own smaller scale projects. I have a single raised bed and containers and I have learned from her methods.
@TexasRancher45 Whew those Texas summers are worse than SC! I still have tomatoes and peppers holding on because we haven't had our first frost yet and some days it is 80 degrees then 60 the next day smh. I didn't do okra this year but it is on my list for next year.
