NEW: The man who tackled and disarmed one of the Bondi Beach terrorists has been identified as 43-year-old Ahmed al Ahmed, a fruit stand owner.

The father of two was shot twice and is undergoing surgery.

Here is what we know about the terror attack so far:

- At least 11 people have been k*lled.

- The attack took place as people gathered to celebrate the first day of Hanukkah.

- One suspect is deceased and the other is in a life threatening condition.

- Explosive devices were found in a nearby vehicle.

- Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese called the attack “an act of evil, antisemitism, terrorism that has struck the heart of our nation.”
