ELON MUSK: AI’s next major bottleneck will be electricity.
“A few years ago, I made a very obvious prediction, which is that the limitation on AI will be chips, and it's still chips kind of chips today, then it will be electrical equipment, because you need to take power at that might be at 300,000 volts, all the way down to 400 volts for the computer.
So you need to step down transformers and a lot of them and a lot of cabling and wiring and fuses. And it's a lot of transformers, essentially, and the electrical transformer industry is not used to big changes in demand. And then as we solve the transformer shortage, there will be the fundamental electricity generation shortage. We're getting there soon.”

gm sunday
i was making breakfast and told myself i could answer one message while the eggs cooked.
one message became four.
the eggs became something closer to construction material.
classic sunday multitasking.
while eating the less burnt half, i was catching up on @axisrobotics.
their Binance Wallet campaign only went live a few days ago, with a separate 1.5m Axis Points pool for Keyless Wallet users and new tasks released daily.
cool incentive, sure.
but the part i keep coming back to is what those people are actually contributing toward. Axis V2 is built around finding weak robot states, letting humans correct them and feeding useful corrections back into post training.
then @termix_ai has almost the opposite problem.
instead of teaching machines how to move better, AACP is trying to give autonomous agents the economic rails to find jobs, bid, deliver, build reputation and settle payments. their @KaitoAI Katalyst campaign is live now too.
and @quipnetwork dropped a timely reminder this week that quantum risk is not some “bitcoin dies tomorrow” story.
current quantum computers cannot break Bitcoin or Ethereum. the future concern is mainly the cryptographic signatures proving ownership, not Bitcoin mining itself.
robotics.
agent commerce.
post quantum security.
different timelines, same thought for me this sunday:
good infrastructure usually starts solving tomorrow’s annoying problems before everyone agrees they’re urgent.
wish i had applied that logic to my breakfast.
