i don’t understand this strain of class-anxiety media. rich people don’t want to look at poor people. their lives have always been engineered to avoid having to see/interact with poor people. it is a poor person’s fantasy that wealthy people are interested in them.
Macrolanguage hypotheses, while technically grounded in (usually) hard science, have the potential to make you sound like a complete madman. Imagine hearing someone claim that Göbekli Tepe was built by "Vasco-Caucasian" speakers.
NB that the "manga escapist" communists managed to hijack a plane and use it to defect to North Korea, one presumes the anti-manga communists chastised them about not forming rural communes, taking proletarian jewbs, believing one more uchigeba session would topple the state.
YT vids about "disturbing manga" are almost always dogshit. Entry level horror and pretending that things like Shōjo Tsubaki or (lol) Dokumushi are "traumatising", but I can't counter it well because the most disturbing manga I ever read I haven't been able to find ever again.
We are all rootless — even in Europe. If I tried to honor a national feeling, I would be inventing it out of thin air. It would not be based on anything but frivolous feelings and images, "vibes".
Just watched Madness in Bloom. Amazing movie dealing with japanese nationalism, hooliganism, organized crime and the struggle between ideology and cynicism in a modern world. I can't recommend it enough. Give it a watch and then tell me how much you liked it.
