Until you've lived in and been involved in different communities, your opinion isn't objective at all. I've lived in multiple states, and I've spent time living in cities, small towns, suburbs of big cities, etc.
In my personal experience, there are nice people and rude people everywhere. I've gotten along great with people from a wide variety of backgrounds (race, religion, politics, class, old, young, etc.), but it's because I make an effort to be excited and interested in the person I'm talking to no matter who they are. And if I don't make that effort, why would I expect people to go out of their way to make me feel warm and welcome.
Usually, you get whatever you're looking for. If you're looking to be offended, you can always find a reason to be. But if you choose to be happy, you can also always find a reason to be. If you assume that people are judging you, you'll feel judged. If you assume that people are in their own little world and aren't paying much attention to you (which is usually the case), you'll feel unbothered.
As a society, we need to get better at taking ownership and accountability over our thoughts and feelings. We've become so entitled. People think that their entitled to kindness, empathy, and patience, but the moment you feel wronged, it becomes ok to do and act however you feel?
Why do we hold strangers to a higher standard than ourselves? It's not "treat others how you want to be treated... unless they're being mean." It's "treat others how you want to be treated" period. As a society we need to quit using other people's actions as an excuse for our own. When you take ownership over your life, your standard for how you live isn't based on what other people say or do. Your actions are purely based on the goals that you have and the life that you want to live. It's not easy, but it's empowering
Telling an unemployed sports fan that they need to get into sports betting is awful adviceππ€£ easiest way to stay poor
And I realize that a big chunk of people who bet on sports are unemployed sports fans haha I'm speaking from personal experience being an unemployed sports fan
All 5 defenders inside the three-point line. Modern NBA teams would torch this type of defense. And the whole team standing in the one spot for most of the possession is art? I understand having nostalgia for basketball that you grew up on, but it doesn't change the fact that athletes today have access to more resources than ever before. Athleticism and skill are at an all-time high. High-level basketball strategies and systems are as effective as they've ever been. Coverage of sports in general is as good as it's ever been. Everyone wants to talk about how great everything USED TO BE, but is it baskstball's fault that you lost passion and excitement for the game, or is it your fault?
So glad she wasn't afraid to speak the truth.
The refs 100% decided the game.
Minnesota put themselves in a position to win, just for the officials to ignore a blatant travel and then call a non-existent foul with 5 seconds left.
AND THEN, when given an opportunity to fix their mistake with a review, they doubled down on their awful call.
Terrible look for the WNBA
@GHZcoaching It's almost impossible to come up with high-value content out of nowhere on a daily basis.
Developing content strategies and systems is a must if you want to produce high-value content consistently.
@mayankonx Everyone says the journey is the reward, but nobody actually treats the journey like the reward until it's over.
Appreciate the little things.
Live in the moment.
Don't sacrifice your reputation for reach.
Great content isn't about hopping on trends and maximizing your impressions.
Great content is about providing value in an interesting and easy-to-understand format.
Setting goals is useless...
without a clear action plan.
Write down your goals and how you plan to achieve them.
Be specific about what actions you will take to achieve your desired outcome.
@AlexHormozi Eliminate all distractions as soon as you notice them.
Put all of your focus and energy into things that will bring you closer to the person you want to become and the life you hope to live.
