As we gear up to celebrate our 11th year anniversary, Yves and T.A.K.E. will be partnering up to bring awareness to the work that's being done on the ground here in Alabama.
Meet Yves Mathieu, the Florida-raised, New York–based model. Aside from modeling, he is also a musician and activist. The bulk of his spare time is spent volunteering at homeless shelters, LGBTQ runaway centers, and senior citizen homes.

Today marks the first day of Black History Month! This month we will shine a spotlight on Black Trans Organizers, Black Trans-Led Organizations, Black Trans Musicians and Trans- ancestors.

As we get settled into the new year, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on and celebrate all we at T.A.K.E. Resource Center accomplished in 2023 with the support of our staff, donors, participants and volunteers. We are so grateful for all who have stepped up to support our beautiful community, every single one of you helps make what we do possible and continues to keep us pushing forward. Throughout the week of November 14th-19th, we honor the strength and resilience of the transgender community. While most of the discussion of trans folks online can often be centered on negativity, Transgender Awareness Week gives us the opportunity to uplift positive and insightful stories of trans people across the country.
