Some people like to pretend to be the victim and cry about problems that they create in order to gain sympathy. This is an example of someone who doesn’t take responsibility for their own actions.

Pointing out that their own actions led to their situation is not victim blaming.

Victim blaming and holding someone accountable for their own actions are two different things.

Example: judging what a woman was wearing when she was assaulted = victim blaming.

Pointing out nonsensical actions that led to an unfortunate incident = holding someone accountable.

In all seriousness, while I agree the subreddit you’re referring to can go overboard with their hatred (disguised as genuine concern), there is some truth to Colleen making questionable parenting choices (i.e. not teaching Flynn “No”).

And let’s not forget the whining/crying about the NICU nurses asking the mother to be more present for her premie babies, even feeding them in her absence. A job that, apparently, warrants strangulation according to the mother.
