@broz25060395@cptdankkk I was wrong - thought eligibility was calculated off of the sport but there is the clause that says you have 5 years to play four seasons once you start competing. He played 3 at Davidson, but is way past the allowed time to use the remaining one season.
@MattMeister1@cptdankkk Makes sense - you are on point with eligibility, he wouldn't be able to play. He would just have to hit the amateur circuit or take the pro leap.
@Thechat101 I must be missing something, but with all that room in the middle they would be slicing and dicing his way to the rim all game.
There biggest challenge would be the euro soccer influence of flopping, i.e. Vlade the Godfather
I didn't say he couldn't do it - I said start at D1 and see. My opinion on levels was more about Draymond not understanding how hard the top level is - not just the players but the setups. Tour setups for most Ams are super difficult.
If anyone could do it though, it might be him because of what you said. He is mentally a killer and at this stage in life would have nothing to lose. It would be fun to watch.
@dickofficial42 So you're on a limited budget - I would use the hell out of the short game area, it's free - you will be using those shots more than the long game. Find a reputable person to take some lessons from if you can. And then use your range time working on the takeaways from the lessons
A story told to me by a rules official out in Olathe Kansas a long time ago said Tom Watson told him unless you are a +6 on your home course, don't think about going pro. There are outliers I'm sure, like Poulter, but the older I've got, I tend to agree with that metric. It makes sense anyways.
That said, if you have the stones and self belief, who is anyone to say don't go for it. What's the worse thing that could happen?
@TourSwingsTommy 100% - there are always outliers but on avg sounds right. And I would take this further, unrelated to distance, and say they would beat most +3s (on avg) at any home course, straight up.
@sullyengels I'm good with this. Its baseball. The players will watch it and adjudicate as necessary. If you see Muncy get drilled in a future at bat, we'll know why.
Not to mention these guys. The team was friggin loaded in 2013.
Ray Allen (scrub SG)
Mario Chalmers (scrub PG)
Norris Cole (scrub backup guard)
Shane Battier (scrub forward/3-and-scrub D specialist)
Mike Miller (scrub sharpshooter)
Udonis Haslem (scrub big man, fan favorite)
Rashard Lewis (scrub forward)
James Jones (scrub 3-point specialist)
Chris Andersen ("Birdman" – energetic scrub backup big, joined mid-season and was huge in the playoffs/streak stretch)
Joel Anthony (scrub backup center)
It started with everyone getting a trophy. Now everyone wants to get paid.
He's not wrong on regionalization. There is no reason Utah should be going to Florida to play a conference game. Stanford and Cal being in the ACC is another example of this. Don't say money isn't ruining the game, because it is. JMO
@ShooterMcGavin Yep. And I love the pursuit of getting better, but if you look at Adam Scott (same teacher, same swing concepts) about to start his 100th consecutive major, one has to ask how his perception of this swing wasn't going to last over time. It's sad, really.
@VigilantFox The dude is smart, but if a shot doesn't actually confer immunity what is he saying? The number of people who rejected the last shot being jammed down our throats were proven right. So again, what is this dude saying?
