Mufti Shamail Nadwi al-Hanafi al-Athari on his visit to Saudi Arabia was honoured and hosted by Shaykh Sa’d bin Nasir al-Shitri who praised him for his esteemed defence of Islam and the existence of Allah against Atheism in the famous debate he had in India.

The Ashari’s, Maturidi’s and Sufi’s claim him, despite him being Athari, yet they did not honour him like our Scholars. It is the Athari/Salafi’s whom they despise that honour and defend the religion
