Why is it so hard for them to just respect the ceasefire and live normal lives as before? Aren't they say they want peace, but why they're invading us nonstop? We cannot take it anymore. Our nation needs peace.

The Thai army said it was preparing to use its right to self-defense after being forced by Cambodia, which is not true due to many evidences from military operations and ministry reported of daily. This coincided with Thailand's rejection of Cambodia's request to clear landmines at the GBC meeting.

Where is the Thai government in all of this? Why is it always army generals — not elected leaders — who dictate Thailand’s stance toward Cambodia? Time and again, Thailand’s foreign policy toward its neighbour has been hijacked by the military, sidelining civilian authority.
The statement made by Lieutenant General Boonsin Phadklang, Commander of Thailand’s Second Army Region, on August 12 was more than reckless — it was a dangerous fabrication designed to ignite conflict. His claim that Cambodia “secretly planted landmines” after troop withdrawal is not supported by evidence, yet it is already being weaponised as a pretext for military aggression. This is not the language of peace. This is the language of war.

Ministry of National Defense firmly rejects any accusation, lacking of clear and founded evidence, from Thai side related to injury of Thai soldier caused by mine explosion at Ta Moan Thom Temple in Oddar Meanchey Province on August 12, said Ministry's spokesperson Maly Socheata in a briefing on August 12.
She added that Cambodia has not, and will not, plant new landmines. She said that Cambodia is a proud member of Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention.
Warning that peace along the Cambodian–Thai frontier is hanging by a thread, Cambodia has informed the United Nations that the ceasefire with Thailand remains fragile and could risk collapse. The Foreign Ministry has demanded that Thailand pull its troops and equipment back to the legally recognized boundary, accusing Bangkok of repeated incursions that threaten to reignite armed conflict.
