@UpTheRs@Skorpio1@QPRTravels Where on earth is that narrative found? I have never seen a single person article or tweet that said that about him at all. All I saw from people was that his confidence was non existent and that impacted his play
I’m sorry, but they have got to explore trading Zacha for more assets to accelerate the timeline of getting younger and drafting better talent. No one is trading valuable picks for bad contracts they’re trying to unload
Worth noting re: Zacha and the Bruins not talking extension yet- he isn't even eligible to sign an extension until July 1. Technically they're not even supposed to negotiate until then. Wouldn't expect anyone to say anything even if they were already talking behind the scenes.
@RtKody@JL_Hoops I understand that's the idea, but if we want to fill the voids this summer, we can't wait that long. They'll have to sell now at far lower value.
@RtKody@JL_Hoops Yeah that's a good point re: Edwards. The players you've listed, however, likely aren't bringing us any cash this summer bar Madsen. We need more than that.
@RtKody@JL_Hoops He is a great player for sure, but he wasn't a RB or a GK which were and still are far higher on the priority list. The selling is an issue because the only player that will have any real value is Madsen since the rest have completely regressed in value.
@RtKody@JL_Hoops I hear you, but I think there's several possible issues with this. One, we bought a defender in Jan, and he was not really a necessity. Two, I reckon we have spent most of (if not all) of the Eze money this season's crop of players. We likely have to sell to recruit more.
This paragraph is damning for everyone at the club. I can’t remember which account it was, but someone mentioned earlier that most QPR fans are either ‘everything is fine’ or ‘everything is shit.’ And a reply I saw was that the truth lies somewhere in the middle. However, stats
Not a good look for the front office people either after spending tons of money on this seasons transfers, and that’s without the insanely long injury list
A serious reality check is needed.
This isn’t a side that looks close to taking the next step. The progress has been marginal, mostly individual, and there are still major recruitment issues and a losing culture to fix.
QPR are miles off being fit for the next tier.
Perfect end to another season of fuck ups and setting cash on fire. Serious changes needed internally and we have none of the Eze money to bail us out. Next season has to be better otherwise there needs to be wholesale changes to the people running the show
