@copyadvocate Yeah - the 24hr part only works because a one-pager is one screen of copy, not ten. The build's the easy half; the words are what make someone stop. Half my rebuilds stall not over design but because there's nothing to say yet. Do your clients usually come already having a site?
@VAinParadise Same pattern on the site side - "no site yet" is usually bad timing, not a no. I build the demo first, unasked, so there's something concrete to react to. Do your retainer clients usually already have a working site, or is that often still missing?
@renukarajpuria@AILearnCircle@1997harkirat Makes sense - one page per listing beats a giant table people have to parse. Are those pages templated so a new field just flows through, or still closer to hand-built for now?
@montychandwani Makes sense to ship it simple first. On the per-block provisioning - does adding a new state later mean touching every existing block, or is it additive by design?
@NgoziOkika@Ngbookeeping Financial statements are the "boring but essential" version of what I do with one-page sites - nobody cares until a bank or investor asks and it's not there. Is it usually one trigger (loan, tax season) that gets an owner to finally DM you, or a slow build of anxiety?
@phil_fitz "Win it, don't just survive it" is a great line. I see a tiny version of this - owners who wait until a buyer or landlord asks for a website before they have one, then scramble. Do early planners end up wanting something different than late ones?
@ShantelSwierc Self-employed folks put off health coverage and their website for the exact same reason - neither feels urgent until something forces the issue. Do people usually come to you before that point, or after?
@Rita_Ojigbede "Still manage your online presence" hits different - that's the task that sits untouched for months until a client asks for a link that doesn't exist. What's the first thing you usually take off someone's plate?
Building one-pagers for small businesses this week, noticed the same thing every time: the ones without a site aren't ignoring it, they just don't know where to start. So now I just build one first. $95, ready in 24h, no commitment until you've seen it.
@montychandwani Makes sense, so it just falls back to the resting style on tap - less to build than I expected. Do you let people define a distinct pressed/active style per block, or is the resting state the only one they get on mobile?
@montychandwani That's the detail v1 builders usually skip. Do hover states carry over cleanly to mobile taps, or does each block need separate touch handling
@montychandwani That block-based approach could genuinely cut a lot of custom CSS wrangling for simple sites. Are you handling responsive breakpoints per-block, or is that abstracted away entirely?
@9rebelg "No sign-up" is the actual feature here, not the checklist itself β most tools in this space add an account wall on day one because it's easier to track retention. What convinced you to skip it?
@jdtoelle $11,500 on $0 MRR is the interesting number here β means the buyer paid for something other than revenue. Traffic, the domain, the design work itself? Trying to figure out which of those actually carries resale value versus just looking good on a dashboard.
@klein_more88816 Good: the "old way vs modern way" block sells harder than your hero headline does. Bad: the 3D demo above it steals attention before that comparison lands. I'd move the comparison up, save the 3D showcase for after someone's already sold.
@AnthonyCasauria@viralvaultapp That mismatched-crop thing is sneaky - I do a similar sweep on every one-page site before showing a client: re-screenshot every section fresh so nothing from an old draft survives. Is that check automatic for you by now, or still a manual pass before each release?
@omoiyaolobi001 Same lane here - I build $95 one-pagers for small businesses with zero web presence. Different price point, same idea: most SMBs don't realize how invisible they are until you show them.
