A Living Example of Islam
“Mr Lamin Jabbi Sahib, Gambia’s Minister for Communications and Digital Economy, said:
‘Having witnessed the Jalsa Salana, I was deeply astonished by the profound reality before me. This is a great global event which is founded upon a spirit of selfless service and a silent, unwavering sacrifice.
Corporate executives, doctors and young people set aside their worldly positions and voluntarily cleaned the floors, cooked food over fires and directed traffic.
Then, when the call to prayer was given, this enthusiastic gathering, comprising people of different nationalities, immediately fell into complete silence – so much so that one could not even hear the sound of a pin drop.
To witness this living reality of such immense discipline and spirituality is seldom seen in today’s materialistic world.’”

Broadcasting the Message to the World
“Similarly, besides those volunteers who served directly at the Jalsa, there are the workers of MTA, many of whom are volunteers.
They too deserve our gratitude as they made every possible effort to broadcast the proceedings of the Jalsa to every corner of the world in an excellent manner.
This too is a powerful means of Tabligh [propagating the true message of Islam].”

Highlights from Jalsa Salana UK 2026
Throughout Jalsa Salana UK 2026, beloved Huzoor (aba) delivered addresses that strengthened our faith and drew our attention towards Allah. Beyond those blessed addresses were countless moments that reflected the mercy, humility and care that define the institution of Khilafat.
Every meeting, every greeting and every prayer was a reminder that Khilafat continues to unite hearts across every nation, language and culture.
May Allah continue to bless our beloved Huzoor (aba) with good health and strength, and enable us to remain forever attached to Khilafat. Ameen.

Silent Tabligh Through Service
“By the grace of Allah the Almighty, the three-day Jalsa Salana UK concluded successfully last Sunday, garnering the blessings of Allah.
Preparations for the Jalsa take months; in fact, they begin immediately after the Jalsa concludes. The intensity of the preparations increases several weeks prior to the Jalsa and reaches its peak one or two weeks before the Jalsa.
During the days of the Jalsa, thousands of volunteers—girls, women, children, men, elders and youths—serve tirelessly to the best of their abilities and with the utmost sincerity. They not only provide comfort to Ahmadi guests, but along with catering for the needs of non-Ahmadi and non-Muslim guests who attend from countries around the world, they also portray the true image of Islam.
And in doing so, they engage in a silent form of preaching.
As such, every volunteer who serves in any department of the Jalsa deserves our gratitude. May Allah the Almighty grant them the best reward for their service.”

Good Deeds with Pure Sincerity
“The Promised Messiah (as), in light of this verse regarding shirk [associating partners with God], states:
‘Whoever desires to be blessed with the vision of God in this very life should perform good deeds that are free from every form of corruption. His actions should neither be for showing off to people, nor should they give rise to arrogance in the heart. Rather, they ought to be filled with sincerity and devotion.
*Along with this, it is also essential to abstain from every form of shirk. Neither the sun, nor the moon, nor the stars, nor the wind, nor fire, nor water, nor any other earthly object should be set up as a deity. Nor should worldly means be relied upon to such an extent that they effectively become partners with God. Nor should one consider one’s own power or efforts to be anything of consequence, as this, too, is a form of shirk.’”

Raise the Standards of Worship and Knowledge
Beloved Huzoor (aba) addressed the lajna of Jalsa Salana UK, urging us to strengthen both our worship and our religious knowledge so that we may remain close to Allah Almighty and guide future generations.
"As we move further away from the era of prophethood, weaknesses are also increasing. The only means to overcome these weaknesses and to remain close to Allah Almighty ourselves is to raise the standards of our worship and elevate our scholarly standards as well..."

Balancing Marriage And Education:
During a group mulaqat of Lajna Imaillah Netherlands, with Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (aa), a member enquired whether it is appropriate for young women to marry before completing their higher studies.
Huzoor (aa) advised that if a suitable proposal is available and the prospective bride is agreeable, marriage should not be postponed solely to continue one’s education. He emphasised that education and family life are not mutually exclusive, provided both husband and wife reach a mutual understanding. If, after marriage, there is a desire to study further in a field that serves humanity – such as medicine or teaching – this can be pursued once family responsibilities are being fulfilled and children are no longer very young.
Huzoor (aa) cautioned, however, against arrangements that might undermine family life, such as spouses living separately just to pursue studies. He stressed that families should not be broken apart for the sake of education and that both partners should discuss and agree upon how best to balance these responsibilities. If a husband fails to support his family financially, a wife may need to educate herself to become self-sufficient and educate him to do the right thing. Nevertheless, under normal circumstances, the goal of education should be to serve others rather than merely to earn money, and family unity should always remain a priority.
