Not sure this series is the “war of attrition” all the talking heads said it was. Feel like the starters barely played the 4th quarter this series. Trading blowouts. Still think the Knicks are better than both these teams, but it certainly wasn’t the physical grind I hoped for.

But if you really watch what OKC has been doing in the games they’ve won this series, there’s a clear agenda. Trying to find an angle since SA kicked their ass this year.

It’s nonsensical. There’s a reason the whole country calls SGA a foul merchant & awful to watch. Go look for your clips.

@SudoLinuxMaster @MaddJournalist That doesn’t mean anything. That gap should be significantly wider if they called the game consistently. You can be drawing fouls & still getting screwed on no calls & flop calls. Especially when OKC fouls relentlessly. The Thunder know what they’re doing.

@MaddJournalist They can shoot. But they control the entire game with a physicality that isn’t afforded to their opponents & then they manipulate the refs on O with the flopping & flailing. It’s nauseating to watch. Wemby had 6 & 4 rebounds in their last 2 losses. It’s a Legion of Boom approach.

@MaddJournalist They foul relentlessly on D too knowing the refs won’t want to call a foul on every play & it’s perceived as physical, good defense as a result. Wemby can’t even get his arms up on D or for a rebound because he’s constantly being wrapped up or pulled on every drive or shot.

Can the refs at least try to make the game fix discreet? Goaltending you could see from Jupiter. Nothing. Ball clearly off Chet. OKC ball. San Antonio challenge in the face of the ref. Not granted. SGA flop. San Antonio foul. Tech on SA. Watching OKC play is nauseating.

Love Wemby, but he’s not conditioned to grind out 2 playoff games in a row at maximum energy and effort yet. Especially with Harper struggling post injury. Knicks would wear them down if they somehow came back & won this series.
