Last week we asked students what a mathematician looks like. I bet you could guess students' ideas.
This week we will share a few mathematicians I'd like us to learn from including Chika Ofili, 12-year-old boy from Nigeria who discovered a divisibility rule for the number 7.
On yesterday's quiz, just for fun, I ended with the request "in the spirit of Halloween, show the scariest math mistake you can." I wasn't disappointed by some of the student responses!
At tonight's board meeting, trustees approved the names of the two new high schools. The Henry S. Grace Fwy school will be Wichita Falls Legacy High School. The Kell Blvd school will be Wichita Falls Memorial High School.
