@rubynesoberi Good on him, but honestly the worst way to play it. The couple times I've tried I always get lost and confused in the same-y halls. It's best to stick to Zero Mission.

Unfortunately, unlike some games from the NES, Metroid did not age well. Mostly because of technical limits.

@HorseScoliosis @rubynesoberi Having no map itself is only as awful as it is due to the world being so similar. A lot of vertical halls that is just a different color. There's a reason I suggest sticking to Zero Mission unless you are either curious or a superfan.

@skeletrust One last thing I've only just thought of. There is a magic upgrade that is a functional double magic boost. But it really just makes items use half as much magic that they usually do. Look that up too if needed. Otherwise be prepared to use a whole lot of Green Potions.

@skeletrust I totally get it. This boss in particular is very easy to die to. Mostly because the spikes. Most of the boss doors aren't as complicated to get return to as Skull Woods.

Advice. Find all 4 bottles. Even if you have to find a guide. Fill them with faeries and blue/green potions.

@skeletrust For any future replays you should know that that Fire Rod does a lot of damage to it. It's just hard to land the shot sometimes. And Spin Attacks are your best friend. For everything. It does extra damage. Face away from them to make getting up close easier before attacking.

@PlayerEssence I feel like it's important to remember that some of the Odyssey team worked on Bananza. Not sure if it was the entire team, but still. It's a near guaranteed chance we'll get a 3D Mario in the next two years. When it happens it happens. The fate of NS2 isn't reliant on 3D Mario.

@BringBackBanjoK As for the $80 games thing. I think only MKW and now Fire Emblem are priced there. And even then that price point as been a problem for years. Just disguised as "ultimate edition". Sometimes the price is worth it. Sometimes it only offers some skins, 2X Exp, and/or early access.

@BringBackBanjoK I won't defend how wild Nintendo Legal often is. As for Game Key Cards those really aren't such a problem. If the concern are the servers you can still download digital 3DS/Wii U games you bought when those shops were online. Theoretically we'll be fine for a long time.

@MarnieGraves_ @Goomba843 I remember taking the chance on Splatoon and not regretting it. I didn't play online a whole lot, but loved the single player. That battle against Octavio was, and still is, one of the harder boss battles of recent Nintendo history.

@AussieGamr I actually don't mean a wheel system. I mean like each directional point is a set item. The regular boots could be the default that you always change into when you hit one of the boot buttons again. Much like how the wind waker and sail worked in WWHD.

@AussieGamr It's hard to say for sure what Nintendo will do. I just know that with this being set up as the holiday title it seems unlikely to be 1:1. They'll want something more. Just probably not willing to try, and fail, to fix what isn't broken.

@itsashotgunbaby I assumed you were. His dialogue is pretty funny. It's probably just you buying them but he acts like his Shark Tank product is taking off and making Money. At least the spot of soil next to him is useful. Short cut and all. Otherwise it's heart pieces and skulltula tokens.

@itsashotgunbaby I'm actually hopeful the remake gives the Ice Arrows more purpose. How I don't know. But something. Also with luck they'll attach the boots and the ocarina to the d-pad akin to Wind Waker HD.

And in defense of the bean seller at least it's SOMETHING to use your rupees on.

@itsashotgunbaby It has its flaws, but OoT ages far better than many expect. As one of the first games of its type in 3D it got so much more correct than it had any right to.

As for MM? I really like the game, but still prefer OoT personally. So don't feel bad if you don't fall in love with it.

@Gabo54M I wouldn't mind if the likely tense relationship between Hylians and Gerudo was explored a bit more. Even if only through talking to background characters. Add some moral ambiguity to the actions/decisions of the former instead of the King of Evil.
