Watch her reaction to being asked to wear a mask at Trader Joe’s. This level of outrage is tolerated by our society in that instance. What is the commensurate level of outrage for witnessing your people targeted, murdered & brutalized? Asking for a friend. https://t.co/5LNOTgz17y
When seat belts were first introduced in 1968, there were idiots who insisted they “infringed on their freedoms” and would physically cut them out of their cars. We make fun of those people now. Can you guess who we’ll be making fun of in 2072?
If I can #WearAMask while working out at the Physical Therapy Clinic ( Trying to relearn how to walk) you can wear one when you go out to get tacos. #whearaDamnMask
This next short is another from Tali de Assis.
Congratulations on another great short!

@shonashonaL @believeinmaybe People with uteruses can get pregnant, and there are trans men with uteruses, ppl born with multiple sex organs, women with hysterectomies...perhaps we can focus on championing equality across the board, even as we fight these dreadful laws that target those who can get pregnant
@toria_d @believeinmaybe We can adjust this language to say people with uteruses can get pregnant, as there are trans men with uteruses. Maybe is offering a reminder around the power of inclusionary language.
@sarah_vesey @believeinmaybe I appreciate you are attached to your belief, and I would encourage you to research more in-depth, as your statement has been scientifically debunked. Gender is a spectrum, and trans people are real, valid, and are not a threat to you. We are all human.
@shonashonaL @believeinmaybe They absolutely are draconian and horrendous. I truly do not believe there is not any attempt at minimizing this horror, but rather a reminder that we can maintain inclusion with this fight.
@believeinmaybe For those responding very negatively to this, please understand that our fight for reproductive choice and freedom, and fighting for the rights of those who will be directly impacted doesn’t have to be accompanied by trans exclusionary language. They are not mutually exclusive.
"Three Trees (In Three Parts)" screened at the @InwoodArtWorks Film Fest yesterday, and took home the award in the Long Shorts category! Quite a surprise given the quality of films this year.
