As some teachers start back tomorrow, I hope everyone realizes that even with the issues of teaching (lack of pay, voice, resources, etc.) most teachers will still wake up excited to see their kids ( virtually or in person) and will do all they can to help them succeed and grow.

I’ve told my 15 -year-old daughter that she’s now part of history, that she should record her experiences & feelings. Years from now, people will need such stories to to learn from us. I always tell kids that this is what history is made of, our own stories. Thanks david!

State assessments should be cancelled for all schools immediately. We are now comparing apples to oranges when students are missing 3,4,5 weeks of school, maybe more. Remove that stress now! Put that in your bill and pass it! They will be even more useless than usual.
