hey man, i guess i’m just desensitized bc i have hella cousins and aunties etc etc who have and will continue to remain fans of losers like chris brown 🫤 so idk this kinda just feels like watching my cousin’s ig story on a random saturday and all i can do is shake my head
Ig we as fans don’t have to support everything the they do, and i hate CB sm, but calling rm and hobi abusers or misogynists just for attending the concert is too much. It’s fine to be disappointed, but u don’t need to go out of ur way to trash them.
I think a lot of ppl on twt lack nuance & the understanding that not everything is black and white. And you can be critical of something without becoming parasocial from a lens of hatred. I also think a lot of ppl jump to extremes very quickly without forming their own thoughts
my 7 cents
1. it’s ok to be disappointed (i am)
2. i hope they understand why people are disappointed
3. bts are not bad people
4. stream arirang
5. i love namjoon and hobi
6. i love bts
7. apobangpo
I don’t like the phrase “hold them accountable” in this situation because Hobi and Joon didn’t do anything. Is this an unsavory look? Yes, but don’t say hold them accountable as if they beat up women, like, words matter and we need to take a step back and think
This BTS thing is parasocial for a lot of you... What do you mean you cry, have panic attacks, question your sanity, feel betrayed when BTS does something you don't agree with?
