We were hugely privileged to have sell-out crowds and wonderful reviews for our 2024 @edfringe production of Dostoyesvksy’s Crime and Punishment @theSpaceUK
After a beautiful @edfringe we are still climbing back down to normal life.
We were lucky enough to enjoy some spectacularly supportive audiences, and would like to share some of their feedback for our show #GOLD which commemorated and celebrated the ordinary soldiers of D-day.
Jane Eyre: the 'poor, obscure, plain and little' orphan, forced to find her own way in the world, surrounded by mists of secrets and unspoken truths, has enthralled generations of readers and remains one of the best-loved books of all time.
August 19 -24th @theSpaceUK
Dostoyevsky’s seminal masterpiece of psychological torment: #CrimeAndPunishment unravels in a sweltering St Petersburg summer as an impoverished student wrestles with thoughts of the good he could do if he could lay hands on the wealth of an unscrupulous old woman…

When privilege, arrogance, exceptionalism and unaccountability are a central creed of English public school life; do those outside the elite circle of corruption and casual cruelty accept their place, or take a stand for what is right?

In July 17th 1918, four young women were executed and their remains flung into lime pits. Abandoned for 80 years, their only crime was to be born into the unbearable expectation, garish privilege, and naive ineptitude of the ruling Romanov dynasty

“Flashman was a formidable enemy, leaving no slander unspoken, and no deed undone which could in any way hurt his victims.
His bluff, off-hand manner passed for heartiness; and his money and adroit toadyism managed to make him rather popular.”

@theGrit_music For me, you can never beat a (good) Nut Roast… or make it a Wellington if you’re feeling fancy.
Or a cheese/fruit combo puff is always delicious: brie & cranberry, goat cheese & beetroot, paneer & mango.
Or a blitzed lentil, chick pea & walnut shepherd’s pie?
