3.App-driven and algorithmic advisory platforms are now directly regulated. They must meet detailed licensing requirements for secure tech infrastructure, data protection, and documented investment methodologies.
4."Approval-in-Principle mechanism": The CMA is introducing a 6-month temporary approval that allows applicants to set up their systems, infrastructure, and staffing. However, no regulated activities can commence until the final license is issued.
