@jemelehill Hate to see this. Unexpectedly, lost my mom not long ago. So I know this pain. Reminded of a quote from @SPressfield GATES OF FIRE ๐๐ฝ
@jodysherron@Sports_Kings_ True they are tough but Hurley & Pitino are charismatic when they need to be. Both turn on a paternal quality - especially when recruiting. Whereas, Mike Malone strikes me as militaristic. And, remember, he rubbed players the wrong way in Denver (pause). Big reason he was ousted.
@LiamOCo30659250@JamCristopher They had Draymond - yet they needed to add KD. Tells you all you need to know. And again - if you gotta lose KD or DraymondโฆEASY choice. 1 + 1 = 2. Draymond is a role player - nothing more - nothing less.
@LiamOCo30659250@JamCristopher KD was the best player on a team that had Steph and Klay on it. Ask the Warriorโs coach and front office at the time if they have to drop Draymond or KD - who goes - and they will answer Draymond before you could finish the question.
@CoachBeligoat As a Duke fan I concur. That said I, every* Tarheel fan & almost every fanbase in the nation would take Dukeโs record the last 10 years over their teamโs. Carolina in the last 5 years has missed the tourey & been bounced in rd64 twice (& last year shouldnโt have made tourney).
@Sports_Kings_ This makes sense as far as JBB, too, because even if he *was* eligible for draft after year one - it is highly unlikely heโd be ready no matter where he played and how many minutes. And Duke has been a factory of players going to league. Choice is clear, imo.
