Indian Super League (ISL) clubs have been called to Delhi today evening for a meet at 3pm. All clubs got individual phone calls last night from AIFF deputy secretary general M Satyanarayan. They are likely to meet sports ministry too. Interesting development.

The top most league in India which brought life and professionalism into the sport is on hold and clubs have been forced to suspend and close operations.

The fans who unconditionally support the Indian national teams and various clubs are confused and upset over the delay in getting the sport back to normal.

🚨🎙️ Diego Forlán: We were behind against Chelsea. Sir Alex told me to warm up and insisted I wear high studs because of the heavy rain and the wet pitch. But honestly, I preferred the low studs. I said yes to him but ended up doing what I wanted without him noticing.

After warming up, he put me on the field. Just a few minutes in, I got a good chance to score, but I slipped and completely missed the shot. Then, I had another chance, but I lost my balance again and missed it.

Frustrated, I ran over to the sideline to change my boots. But Ferguson saw me and beat me to the boots, throwing them far away from me. He stopped me and told me to finish the game with the boots I was wearing.
