Pleased to attend the International AGM of Wahat-al-Salam~Neve Shalom. Despite the war, the four educational institutions continue to demonstrate cooperation between Jews and Arabs. Friends groups from around the world have come together in London to show their support.

The Jerusalem Youth Chorus continue to enable young Jews and Arabs to get to know each other, to listen to each other's story, to have fun together and to build up trust. We - Muslims and Jews - in the UK community could learn a lot from them #israelpalestine #interfaith

A great event last night that offered a glimmer of hope. Watched 'Children of Peace'', Maayan Schwartz's documentary about @Wahat al Salam Neve Shalom - the village in Israel where Israelis and Palestinians grow up and live together in a shared, equitable society.

@TammyJ140 It can be very hard to say how you feel when the people in the room are either staunchly pro-Palestinian or pro-Israeli. If they're without empathy for the suffering of the other side and have little understanding of the complexities of the two narratives you're in a hard place.
