A single Filipino civilian boat, sailing in Philippines's waters, is being chased by several China Coast Guard ship and Chinese Maritime Militia vessels.
This is what China's Martine aggression looks like in South China Sea.
And then China says, it wants peace in the region!
9 years ago, on July 12, 2016, the Arbitral Award in the case of the 🇵🇭 vs. 🇨provided clarification on important legal matters concerning the status of the South China Sea.
It is legally binding to both parties and key to stability in the region.
See 🇩🇪embassy‘s statement 👇
Today is the anniversary of the Arbitral Award on the South China Sea.
I was proud to highlight the importance of this decision alongside like-minded partners.
This decision is final, and legally binding on the Philippines and China - we call on them to abide by its terms.
A Hamas terrorist proudly poses for a photo before cowardly murdering a bedridden elderly Israeli woman and her Filipina caregiver on October 7.
How can anyone support Hamas?!
In the name of "Law Enforcement Patrols" China Coast Guard is perpetrating terror inside Phillipines's Exclusive Economic Zone.
Who gave China to invade Philippines's territory?
This is TRESPASSING!
Why Is China Afraid of a Documentary?
A documentary about fishermen should not be a threat to any nation. But when Food Delivery: Fresh from the West Philippine Sea screened in New Zealand, Beijing responded with urgency.
They didn’t issue a public rebuttal or request a balanced forum. They sent official demands. They called the organizers. They warned that showing the film would damage China–New Zealand relations. Not because of violence, or hatred, or incitement—but because the film tells the story of Filipino fishermen working in waters they have called home for generations.
That act of storytelling alone was deemed dangerous.
The film doesn’t speculate. It doesn’t provoke. It documents. It shows what it means to live near Scarborough Shoal, where foreign vessels loom and radio threats pierce through static. It follows men who must weigh their catch against the risk of harassment. It gives voice to those who are often spoken about, but rarely heard.
This is what Beijing wants silenced. Not lies. Lives.
To call it “false propaganda” is to dismiss the lived reality of those who endure the West Philippine Sea conflict every day. That denial says more about the accuser than the film itself.
China claims the documentary misleads the world. But what misleads more: a filmmaker showing the truth of her people, or a foreign government working to suppress it?
When a state pressures foreign festivals, contacts staff, and warns of diplomatic consequences, that is not film criticism. That is censorship, plain and deliberate.
And still, the filmmakers remain open. They invite critics to watch, not to fight. They speak of peace, not confrontation. They chose to focus on humanity, not headlines.
That courage deserves to be seen.
The attempt to silence this documentary only confirms its value. It reveals what some would rather the world never hear—that even in the shadow of larger powers, there are voices that will not be drowned.
Let this film be watched. Let the world see what intimidation cannot erase. Truth does not need permission.

"The greatest challenge we face today is the narrative the People's Republic of China is pushing - that it has legitimate sovereignty over the entire South China Sea. This is the greatest lie we must confront. It is not just the Philippines fight; it is a collective responsibility that all ASEAN nations must lead."
Yaron Lischinsky was the finest friend I’ve ever had, brilliant, kind, and endlessly thoughtful. A devout Christian and a gifted linguist, he spoke German, Hebrew, and Japanese. He was full of curiosity and always brimming with ideas. I don’t think we ever had a conversation that didn’t leave me inspired to write something new.
He loved America. He was excited about the future, about finally visiting Texas, and about the life he and his beloved fiancée were building together. I was supposed to meet her today.
They are both gone. And the loss is immeasurable. The world has lost two extraordinary souls. And I have lost a dear friend who made every moment brighter.
The China Coast Guard’s aggressive actions against a lawful 🇵🇭 civilian mission near Sandy Cay recklessly endangered lives and threaten regional stability. We stand with our 🇵🇭 allies in support of international law and a #FreeAndOpenIndoPacific.
Freedom of navigation is important to us all. We are concerned about the use of watercanons and dangerous manouvres against civilian vessels today. 🇳🇱 stand with 🇵🇭 in upholding #UNCLOS and the 2016 arbitral ruling.
Look at China's barbarity!
And again, #China has harassed PH's Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) vessel. #CCG vessel can be seen firing a water cannon at the vessel. And who will act like a victim afterwards? Of course, China! 1/2 @5eapatriot1 @SouthChinaSeas
It’s one thing to water cannon PH forces near Second Thomas Shoal, quite another to do it this close to the largest PH outpost. It reflects Beijing’s nonchalance about pushing the red line until something really screws up enough to force them to pull back. Remember 17 June 2024.
“I’m an ardent believer in the vision that was outlined in the Abraham Accords and believe that expanding the circle of peace with our Arab neighbors and pursuing regional cooperation is in the best interest of the State of Israel and the Middle East as a whole.
To this end, I advocate for interfaith dialogue and intercultural understanding.” — This is what Yaron Lischinsky wrote on LinkedIn before he was murdered last night.
Yaron was a Christian, born in Germany, who immigrated to Israel at the age of 16 out of deep commitment to the Jewish people and the values he believed in.
He earned a Master’s degree in Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy from Reichman University, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
At the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, he worked as a research assistant in the political department, where he focused on building Israel’s international relationships and advancing peace in the region.
Like his partner, Sarah Milgrim, also an embassy staff member, Yaron was a passionate peace activist.
Together, they worked to realize a shared vision of coexistence and dialogue between Israelis and Palestinians.
Yaron was planning to propose to Sarah in Jerusalem next week. He had already chosen the ring.
When Elias Rodriguez shot them, simply because they were Jewish and Israeli, he didn’t just take the lives of a young couple with their future ahead of them.
He murdered the kind of people the world most desperately needs: those working every day to build a more peaceful, just, and shared future for all.
May their memories be a blessing.
As China continues its unauthorized incursions into the Philippine Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), the truth becomes clearer and more damning: the Philippines is not the aggressor—we are the defender. We uphold international law, we pursue diplomacy, and we seek peace. But our patience must not be mistaken for weakness. While the Philippines abides by the rule of law, China tramples on it with unrelenting arrogance. They loiter, they intimidate, and they claim what is not theirs.
This is no longer a mere maritime dispute—it is a full-blown assault on our sovereignty, dignity, and future. The West Philippine Sea is ours. It is not open for bullying, occupation, or exploitation. The Hague Tribunal already ruled in favor of the Philippines in 2016, yet China dares to mock international law, believing that size and force can rewrite truth.
The world must no longer look away. China’s unlawful aggression is the real monster in the region. It threatens not just the Philippines but the stability of the entire Indo-Pacific. Every ship they send into our waters without permission is an insult, an act of hostility, and a clear violation of international norms.
Let it be known: we are not afraid. We are not silent. The Filipino spirit is strong, and we will stand our ground—not with brute force, but with truth, unity, and the strength of justice. We call on the international community to expose the true face of Chinese aggression. It’s time to stop pretending this is a gray zone. The lines are clear—and China has crossed them.

The UK condemns latest dangerous activity by the Chinese Coast Guard against Philippines civilian vessels near Sandy Cay today, risking lives & raising tensions. A worrying escalation of behaviour.
International law & the legally binding 2016 Arbitral Award must be respected.
Isa sa mga prayoridad natin ang pagtatanggol sa West Philippine Sea. Isusulong natin ang mandatory teaching of West Philippine Sea sa ating mga paaralan. We will use facts and education to counter the lies, propaganda, and fake news being peddled by the Chinese government.
Sarah Milgrim, 26, was a passionate peace activist.
She held a Master’s in International Studies from American University, and a second Master’s in Natural Resources and Sustainable Development from the United Nations University for Peace.
At the Israeli Embassy in Washington DC, she dedicated her work to building a future where Israelis and Palestinians could live side by side in peace and dignity.
She also volunteered with Tech2Peace, an organization that brings together young Israelis and Palestinians to foster dialogue, understanding, and reconciliation.
When Elias Rodriguez shot her, simply because she was Jewish, he murdered not just a bright young woman, but the very kind of person our world so desperately needs: someone working tirelessly to create a more peaceful, just, and shared future for all.
May her memory be a blessing.
