@LOTR_Daily_ I like that Old Forest, Bombadil, and Barrow Downs are not in the movie. In the book, they kill the Black Rider scare momentum. In the movies, not including them and going right to Prancing Pony makes for better pace and momentum with the Riders.

I’ve never watched a NE men’s sports team have this type of success in my lifetime, felt weird. Too young in the 90s to know and we’ve had volleyball, which is awesome.

@CinemaTweets1 I don’t think so by a long shot. Dune hasn’t seeped into the public conscience as much as LOTR did. Dune also has a disadvantage due to the time it’s made in, with people not going to theatres the way they did for LOTR.
