@IsabelOakeshott That barely deserves a response, SO much wrong with this take. Case been in the courts for 25 yrs - hardly a โnew governmentโ decision. Itโs also prob a good compromise to a difficult situation if you read up properly on it rather than just spout controversial crap for clicks
@NTinBath not sure who to contact or who decided to bale bathwick meadows with circular bales in an area frequented by teenagers on a hill but one has already been pushed down and smashed into a car on horseshoe walk. Think they should be collected ASAP before something worse!
Designers and Musicians! this Kickstarter has just launched for a big new book about band logo design, from @SuppleStudio 's designer in Bath. Back stories to a load of classics! https://t.co/DhlTZw602q
@MolesBath Probably the happiest I have ever seen my son - on stage playing drums at @MolesBath earlier this year.
SO SO sorry to see Moles closing after 45 years ๐ช @WeLoveBath
@MolesBath This is v v sad. Moles was one of the 1st places I visited in Bath in the 90s. THANK YOU for the A++ memories: Oasis, Supergrass, knocking myself out headbutting a speaker ๐, my son's 1st performance ๐ฅ, then his band > final of 'Battle of the Bands' this year. RIP Moles๐ช
This is terrible news today. It's a venue with significant meaning for me over the years, just as an audience member. But READ their post about the situation. There needs to be a way to subsidise/fund grassroots venues for the future of live music. Way TOO many struggling.
๐จDevastating news๐จ @MolesBath , a 45-year beacon of live music, declares insolvency, PERMANENTLY closing its doors! Rising costs & the cost-of-living crisis crushed this legendary venue. ALL future events CANCELED!

@IndyMusic@BombayBicycle ๐ + I'm bringing my son to the Bristol gig later - he's 16 & a drummer. His band play a cover of ALT so he knows the song well. He's just got his GCSE results TODAY so would be an AMAZING reward for him to play drums with you guys tonight! I filled in the karaoke form ๐๐
@Churchill And from an efficiency point of view (for you as much as me) should it really take a 1,100 word back-and-forth conversation to request a change to a date-of-birth?
Am all for companies embracing WhatsApp etc. for customer service but @Churchill - it took me NINETY minutes on WhatsApp to change a date-of-birth (which was out by 2 days) on my car insurance?!!
That's not utilising "instant messaging" is it, it's just marketing optics.
@Churchill I think this needs a rewrite. I read the response times as *initial* connection-response. I assumed once connected with an agent they would give reasonable attention to the conversation, not keep disappearing for 15/20/25 mins at each response.
@Churchill your bot says different
"Churchill WhatsApp Bot:
We aim to reply within 5-10 minutes, but this may take up to 30 minutes during busy periods."
