Today's Laravel release includes some slick new features. π
First, the "composer run dev" command is now included in the composer.json file for all new applications. This single command starts the Artisan dev server, a queue worker, the Vite dev server, and tails your logs. π₯
I've been using @LaravelLivewire for about as long as I've been building applications in @laravelphp.
One of my most requested videos is a "Crash Course" on Livewire. What does that mean? Well, I wanted to record everything I wish I knew when I first started.
Live on YT now. π
Wave V3 will be with available next month π
This has evolved beyond just a SaaS Starter kit, it's become more of a SaaS framework.
I hope it helps many people build their @laravelphp SaaS even faster! It'll also have a handful of starter themes to choose from π¨
π Yesterday we added a brand new Bento Grids category to Tailwind UI with three beautiful examples designed by @steveschoger.
We built them with customization in mind. We wanted it to be easy for you to swap out the graphics with your own screenshots and content.
These are always especially tricky to get right from a responsive design perspective, and I'm really happy with how they turned out!
Working with the CSS grid API is such a pleasureβand it was naturally super useful for these particular components. It makes it so easy to change the order of the cards at different breakpoints.
Also used container queries in the first example βΒ in particular the `cqw` container width unit, which I used to dynamically change the size of the content within a card as the card's width changed.
Modern CSS + Tailwind CSS is pretty awesome! π
Now that Flux is available, I can announce that I have created a small VSCode extension to show Flux components. π
Check it out here https://t.co/pcuR1alH3K

I have ~10 droplets that host my side projects (just my solo stuff, I have more isolated droplets for project I collab on with folks), but starting to rethink my strategy.
Is it worth moving all the projects to a single more powerful droplet?
Being able to control PHP versions originally pushed me down this path, but the tech seems to have improved for being able to support multiple PHP and Node versions on a single server now.
Would be less of a pain to manage, and probably cheaper too.
Just not sure it's worth the hassle at this point.
Anyone else done this?
Today on Laracasts, we're launching a brand new course!
Join @joshcirre of the Laravel team, as he builds a Livewire app from scratch. π―

π«΅ Yo, here's the little machine I built for my Laracon slides
So crazy simple and powerful
I'm ruined for using anything else for presentations. My keynote days are officially overrrrr
Iβm using markdown for the articles on @sideprojectmvp, followed the example set by @aarondfrancis, but thought it was a bit of a pain to setup.
Heard about Prezet this week, gonna give it a try for a new project: https://t.co/N9zWhWQz9N by @benbjurstrom
Great to see videos from last weeks Laracon are already being published, adding them as I find them here:
