Meet the founders second pup! He’s was found abandoned on interstate 45 in Texas as a puppy and adopted on the spot. With a lot of patience and 5+ years of rigorous training he became a masterful personal defense / companion / blood pressure alert service dog for his wife with disabilities.

He’s famous around these parts for being insanely friendly. You’ll often find him playing with the neighborhood toddlers and laying in the grass with the chihuahuas when he’s off duty. Just don’t ever make his mom say the magic words or you’ll be obliterated 😬.

His wife uses a low level command to keep people she doesn’t want to interact with 15 feet away. She finds that very useful. He never forgets (even years later) so she only uses it when she’s absolutely certain. It makes for very segregated family functions 🤣.

These days they use PawLine to manage his dietary needs. Did you know not all chocolate poses the same risk to dogs?

From lowest to highest chocolate-toxin concentration:

• White chocolate: almost no theobromine—the main toxin—but fat and sugar can still cause problems.
• Milk chocolate: less concentrated than dark, but can still cause poisoning in massive quantities.
• Dark chocolate: more concentrated, so smaller amounts can be dangerous.
• Baking chocolate: highly concentrated.
• Cocoa powder: generally the most concentrated of these.
