I love the phenomenon where some words are plural in certain languages and singular in others because it makes for such hilarious conversations, for example the time when my teacher said she hopes that she has only one brain

I welcome more responses, but I’ll answer @DSAMikeP as best I can: Because for over a century, our screens were dominated by images of white people, just as the rest of our culture was. The thing is, there are tons of non-white people on this planet who deserve to be seen.
