@JMoultonSoton Freezing council tax is robbing council money from future years as well. When people's monthly mortgage payment goes up by several hundred pounds due to your government's utter incompetence, the less than 100 they'll save on frozen tax in a year is small change in comparison

@BartFeenstra You'd think that being the pro-business party they'd understand the compound interest principle. Council tax frozen one year has a knock-on effect in every year thereafter. With woeful council funding few can afford to freeze it, unless it's for grandstanding purposes...

@SouthamptonCC Southampton is struggling with its recycling rates because of the highly restrictive recycling the council is offering. Most plastics can't be recycled here, no food waste. Look for @WalesRecycles how it can be done right!
