Thanks to @MiamiMarinas and @MiamiDadeRER the waters of #BiscayneBay will be a little cleaner. Five derelict vessels were removed recently from the area surrounding #DinnerKey and #WatsonIsland eliminating these hazards to navigation and the environment. 🛥️🏗️🌊🐟

CHANGES TO MOVE OVER LAW
Effective January 2024, vehicle are now required to mover over a lane for stopped disabled vehicles AND emergency vehicles on the side of the road. If traffic does not allow you to mover over, safely reduce speed to 20 mph below posted speed limit.

Today @MPDMarinePatrol spent a day removing derelict and abandoned mooring buoys, lines and anchors from @CityofMiami #MiamiMarineStadium. Some of the buoys were submerged below the surface, creating a navigation hazard for unsuspecting mariners. 🐟⚓️🛥️🚤⛵️
