"We've got to have more of this community expression of care."
Mr. Rogers
Psychedelics show us that that is true, and so we realize that psychedelic integration circles are an expression of that care.
We're all capable of being more like Mr. Rogers.
When it comes to spiritual emergence - “the individual’s readiness for inner transformation is by far more important than external stimuli. But…those situations involve a radical shift in the balance between the unconscious and conscious processes.” - C+S Grof
Happy Birthday to Grace Slick, the one and only Acid Queen!
Grace first hit the scene with The Great Society in 1965, but it was joining Jefferson Airplane in ’66 that launched her into rock history. As the powerhouse front-woman, she helped deliver some of the band’s most iconic hits, including “Somebody to Love,” and rocked the stage at Woodstock 1969.
Drop your birthday wishes for Grace in the comments and celebrate this legendary voice of the ‘60s!

Just because someone’s unreasonable doesn’t make them incomprehensible. We can understand people’s behavior, and reasoning, even if we don’t agree with their behavior or how they got there.
Thinking about how people in altered states often experience psychometry - the ability to sense energy, history, emotional residue of objects. Or at least they believe they do.
Wondering if there are any studies around this
@drdluke do you know?
Co-author Dr Oliver Robinson interviewed by PsyPost about our recent paper on the different ways in which people cope with different symptoms of extended psychological difficulties following a psychedelic experience.

Has anybody read Isaac Asimov’s story “the last question”? I just did and found the last bit very much like certain psychedelic experiences I’ve had, particularly on 5.

@RCarhartHarris I don’t know what you mean by ‘waves’, but I always thought it’s because the lords of karma want us to have the opportunity to see our deeply rooted misapprehensions clearly so that we can have more clarity about the nature of reality and the self.
