@DanCardenMP Can it help? Yes. But most importantly you need to be at the table, present and willing to be involved internationally. This plan sounds absolutely ridiculous whilst there’s a war in two continents, one of which is our own. Stunningly shortsighted.
This country has a severe lack of patience and a severe abundance of entitlement.
I’m not saying this guy was perfect, but claiming he did a bad job because change wasn’t instant is so short sighted.
We shouldn’t be able to change PMs every 2 years - whichever side.
Nulla succede a caso.
It has been a privilege to work alongside Sir Keir Starmer as he has led international efforts to support Ukraine through the Coalition of the Willing, strengthen NATO, improve Arctic cooperation, and deepen the historic partnership between Canada and the United Kingdom.
Throughout, and in the face of exceptional challenges, Keir has acted with principle, determination, and collaboration. The world is safer and allies are more united because of his efforts.
Keir, thank you for your lifetime of public service. I am grateful for your friendship, and I wish you all the best as you concentrate on your "most important job.”
We’ve done pretty good job of not buying every single thing but when a beach vendor was selling bracelets and my daughter said “no gracias” he said “I have that” and I couldn’t resist.
There's certain deep irony that at a time when the UK so desperately wants and needs to find its place in the world 10 years on from Brexit, it gets rid of the very PM who patiently rebuilt many of these key partnerships with allies, including with the EU.
It can take many leaders years to grow into the statesman you became in just two years.
European and Ukrainian security is stronger because of you.
Thank you, dear Keir.
Anyone else remember when a Prime Minister would get voted in and then spend a whole term in office, meaning that a government could spend five whole years actually governing and not tearing itself to pieces. Crazy times.
