Tammy Reed

Man-made titles do not define me for when the title is removed, who am I? I am driven by God-given purpose & there is where I find meaning & contentment.

That part

[Be A King @BerniceKing]

I struggled with hate and bitterness for many years.

My father was assassinated, my paternal grandmother was assassinated, my uncle died mysteriously.

But I had to seek wellness or I would have been consumed.

I’m grateful that I learned that love is the best fuel for justice.

Congratulations @WhiteHouse Press Secretary #KarlineJeanPierre. You make us proud.

54 years ago today.

One week after my 5th birthday.

You were gone.

Assassinated for answering a call to conscience, for speaking truth to power, for being a drum major for justice who sought to rid the world of racism, militarism and poverty.

I miss you. Still. Always.
