Warning: This is difficult to watch.
The brutality of Iran’s morality police is on full display as they viciously vandalize a woman’s car, all because she wasn’t wearing a hijab inside her own vehicle.

This horror comes on the heels of another shocking case: #ArezooBadri, mother of 2 children shot by the morality police while in her car, is now paralyzed and confined to a hospital bed for the ‘crime’ of not covering her hair.

I urgently call on the international community to intervene against this escalating wave of brutality. The morality police are bullying, harassing, and torturing women in the streets of Iran, and the world must not turn a blind eye.

Urgent: Iranian activist Fatemeh Davand Faces Imminent Execution if Deported to Iran. Act Now!

Western leaders tell us that, they can only provide a safe haven for victims of war but Islamic Republic has been waging war against its own people for four decades.

Fatemeh Davand, a former political prisoner who witnessed the Islamic Republic’s massacre of unarmed protesters during November 2019 uprising, now faces deportion from Turkey to Iran as early as tomorrow—a fate that would almost certainly lead to her torture and execution.
Iranian communities are on edge tonight, knowing that her life hangs in the balance. The world must not stay silent.

I urgently call on the Turkish government to immediately stop her deportation. I call on UN High Commissioner for Human Rights @volker_turk to intervene. Fatemeh’s only hope for survival lies in swift international intervention. We appeal to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to expedite her safe resettlement in a country that will protect her.
This is a life-or-death situation. We need international lawyers, policymakers, journalists, and human rights defenders to raise their voices, apply pressure, and take action to prevent this injustice.

URGENT: Pakhshan Azizi, a Kurdish journalist, has been sentenced to death by Islamic Republic judiciary in Iran. This brave political prisoner is now in Evin prison, facing execution. Last week, the regime sentenced another female political prisoner, Sharifeh Mohammadi, to death and now Pakhshan’s life is in danger too.
When the regime sees no pressure from the outside world, they easily increase the number of executions in Iran.
We must act now to save their lives and stand against the gender apartheid regime in Iran.

@DeborahMeaden Plus their "protests" are not, unlike legal protests, registered with the police or local authorities in advance. You still have the right to protest and be a self-righteous dick all you want - you don't have the right to randomly turn up and block motorways, airports etc.

@DeborahMeaden It's very simple, and has nothing to do with the right to protest. They deliberately cause disruption to traffic by blocking roads - not on a planned and policed march, by sitting in a road and blocking traffic - often not even moving for an ambulance or fire truck. Plus 1/2
