@AlanGratz Started Ground Zero as a read aloud with my 4th grade class before the break and picked back up this week… the engagement is breathtaking… today the chapters included Brandon being exposed to the the open 89th floor and Reshmina almost falling off a cliff! #mike-drop
@itspeterbrown I couldn’t keep my voice from cracking as tears began to roll on the last 2 pages of The Wild Robot Escapes! I had to get one of my awesome Ss to read! Thank you for the best ending to an epic story❤️ #nowords
@mradamwelcome How about doubling up with a peer 4th grade teacher as our school recovers from Imelda’s downpour that flooded a large portion of our school... 44 kids in one room is definitely a challenge to teach, but we’re getting it done 👍🏻 (and so is admin and maintenance- cleanup is a go!)
@mradamwelcome @DonorsChoose Thank you for the support and share! We’re halfway there for our STEM table and all donations are doubled as we were Harvey devastated and in recovery/rebuild mode now!! https://t.co/bs95X6sQwh
@CarrieBrinkley1@KidsDeserveIt Awesome read Carrie! I skim every year to remind myself to teach like I’d want to be taught if I were in my classroom LOL
A3 I never read/nor wanted to read the HarryPotter series many years ago but was sparked by a student pre-summer and am on Book7 and completely hooked ❤️ Who knew! #KidsDeserveIt
Loved listening to students share their 1st attempts to create black out poetry @MVEPanthers@MVE_Reads#KidsDeserveIt there’s so much more I want to teach! I’m running out of time :(
Students created a safety/security committee and created/presented on safety cone protocol today👏@MVEPanthers Wow, talk about student led classroom.... #leadlap@PaulSolarz I’m super proud of these guys!
