Charlie Munger and Warren Buffett on Ethanol blending in Petrol:
“Ethanol blending is a very stupid way to try and solve an energy problem.”
“It takes more fossil fuel energy to create ethanol than you can get out of ethanol you’ve created.”

life is a game, man. don't take it as anything more than that.
have fun. fall in love. sidequest maxx. live the human experience.
and then if you are to make an impact, you will. don't hound yourself so much over it.
This line from Atomic Habits has been living rent-free in my head:
"It doesn't make sense to continue wanting something if you're not willing to do what it takes to get it.
If you don't want to live the lifestyle, then release yourself from the desire."
🇮🇳 India has 145 crore people.
🇹🇼 Taiwan has only 2.3 crore people.
🇮🇳 India’s land area: 3.28 million sq km
🇹🇼 Taiwan’s land area: 36,193 sq km
Yet today 👇
🇹🇼 Taiwan Market Cap: $4.95 Trillion
🇮🇳 India Market Cap: $4.92 Trillion
Despite being a small island nation, Taiwan has overtaken India in stock market capitalization and entered the global top 5.
This shows how powerful technology, semiconductor manufacturing and exports can be for an economy. 📊
🚨 IS ANYTHING PURE ANYMORE? 🚨

3. Fake Mounjaro diabetes drug pens seized in Haryana.
4. 2,800 kg of chemical paneer seized in Meerut.
5. 2,000 kg of fake ghee seized in Surat.
6. 200 kg of artificially ripened mangoes seized in Hyderabad.
All this happened in couple of months!
Can you imagine how much goes unnoticed every day?
🚨INDIA IS NOT A MAJOR FASTEST GROWING ECONOMY, IT IS A MAJOR NEGATIVELY GROWING ECONOMY IN THE WORLD🚨
NO ONE WILL TELL YOU THIS👇
“India is the fastest growing economy.”
Biggest statistical illusion of this decade.
Because GDP is shown in RUPEES…
while the world measures wealth in DOLLARS.
India says GDP is growing ~7%.
But nobody asks:
What happens if the rupee itself falls 10-12%?
Simple math:
2025:
₹100 lakh crore GDP ÷ ₹84/$
= $1.19 lakh crore
2026 after 7% “growth”:
₹107 lakh crore GDP ÷ ₹96/$
= $1.11 lakh crore
Result:
• Rupee GDP growth = +7%
• Dollar GDP growth = -6.7%
That means India actually became SMALLER globally despite “high growth” headlines.
And this is exactly what’s happening:
• Rupee went from ~₹74/$ in 2021 to ~₹96/$ now
• Inflation inflated nominal GDP
• Currency depreciation destroyed global purchasing power
• Imports became costlier
• Citizens became poorer in dollar terms
This is why India slipped in global GDP rankings despite being called the “fastest growing major economy.”
Reality:
If your currency falls faster than your GDP rises…
you are not creating real wealth.
You are just printing larger numbers in a weaker currency.
The real formula is:
Real Dollar Growth = GDP Growth – Currency Depreciation
And if depreciation is bigger than growth…
the economy is effectively shrinking.
But TV debates will never explain this because “fastest growing economy” sounds better than:
“fastest depreciating major currency.”

Higher taxes on option trading in the Union Budget may give short-term revenue but will damage in long-term.
Options help investors hedge risk, improve liquidity & stabilize markets. Treat misuse, not the instrument. A mature market needs derivatives.

In 10,000 years, your country won’t exist. The borders will be dissolved, and your language will be extinct or unrecognizable.
Your digital footprint will be gone, and data will rot faster than stone. Most of what defined us today, money, politics, status and online lives, will vanish without context.
What survives will be fragments: misread, mythologized, guessed at, and wrong.
The uncomfortable truth is this: human certainty is an illusion built on missing data. We don’t know where we truly came from. We don’t know how many civilizations rose, advanced, and quietly reset before us.
As history shows us, it isn’t a straight line of progress, it’s a series of collapses, with survivors writing the story. And we don’t know if we’re evolving… or just approaching another reset.
Happy new year to all the hustlers, misfits, to sons and daughters taking care of their parents, to people who have not given up yet,
to those quietly holding it together,
to people doing “okay” when they expected greatness by now,
to the ones restarting without announcing it,
to those choosing peace over proving a point,
to people who outgrew places, habits, and versions of themselves,
and to everyone entering this year a little tired but still hopeful.
That’s exactly my point
