When a Japanese person is furious with you, they will smile, bow, and walk away.
Americans think this means you were forgiven.
You were not forgiven. You were erased.
In America, anger is an invitation to argue. You yell, you hash it out, you fix it. Anger means you still care about the relationship.
In Japan, anger is a waste of fuel.
If you violate our unspoken boundary, we will not confront you. We will not teach you. We will simply smile, bow, and mentally remove you from the category of living beings.
You will never get a text back. You will never know what you did wrong. You will just slowly realize you are speaking into a void.
We do not fight with people we dislike. We just turn them into ghosts.
If a Japanese person yells at you, celebrate. It means they still think you are worth the air.
If they smile and bow? You have already been buried.
A woman walked into Fulton Sheen’s confessional and told him:
“I’m only here to kill time.”
She admitted she was a prostitute.
Then she revealed something even darker.
She claimed that after being arrested and sent to live with nuns, she had made a pact with the devil: if she made nine sacrilegious Communions, she believed he would help her escape.
Then she ran out of the church.
Sheen could have let her go.
Instead, he asked every penitent who came to confession that night to pray a Rosary for her conversion.
When the confessions ended, Sheen remained before the Blessed Sacrament through the night, praying for her.
Then, as the sun began to rise…
she came back.
She returned to the confessional.
Sheen heard her confession.
And a soul that had seemed completely lost was reconciled to God.
Sheen understood something many of us forget:
No soul is beyond the reach of God’s mercy.
Sometimes the greatest thing you can do for a sinner is refuse to stop praying for them.
Dear Brothers and Sisters, this prayer was written by St. Padre Pio himself. We are told that he believed that many people got healed through this prayer. You can say it for yourself or anyone else that needs healing. Please say this prayer trusting in God’s love for you. He always answers our prayers. Let Him take care of you and you will be healed. Padre Pio Feast Day is on 23 September.
The Most Powerful Healing Prayer by St. Padre Pio
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
Heavenly Father, I thank you for loving me. I thank you for sending your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in your power and grace that sustain and restore me. Loving Father, touch me now with your healing hands, for I believe that your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit.
Cover me with the most precious blood of your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Cast anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas.
Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus’ precious blood. Let the fire of your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way you created it to function. Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart.
Saturate my entire being with your presence, love, joy and peace and draw me ever closer to you every moment of my life. And Father, fill me with your Holy Spirit and empower me to do your works so that my life will bring glory and honour to your holy name. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen.
There's a verse people reach for when they don't know what to say at a funeral. It gets said gently, at the edge of a hospital bed or in a text message after a miscarriage, and it almost always lands the same way as a lid. As a polite instruction to stop grieving now.
Romans 8:28.
"All things work together for good."
But Paul wrote that sentence inside the most honest chapter in the Bible about pain, and if you read what surrounds it, the verse stops functioning as a lid and starts functioning as a floor.
Start about ten verses earlier. Paul says the sufferings of this present time aren't worth comparing to the glory coming, and then, instead of moving on, he sits down in the suffering and describes it at length. He says creation itself was subjected to futility. Not sin. Futility. The sense that things don't work, that effort dissolves, that everything beautiful is quietly coming apart.
Romans 8:20.
And he says creation is groaning. The word he uses is the sound of labor: a woman in the middle of childbirth, no epidural, no guarantee. That's the world, according to Paul. Not broken in a tidy way. In labor.
Romans 8:22.
Then he turns it on us. We groan too, he says, inwardly, while we wait for our bodies to be redeemed. Paul had the Spirit. Paul had seen the risen Christ with his own eyes. And Paul says he still groans. He doesn't present this as a failure of faith or a phase to grow out of. He presents it as the normal condition of a Christian who is paying attention.
Romans 8:23.
And then the strangest verse in the chapter. We don't even know what to pray for, he says. Not that we pray badly. That we don't know what to ask. So the Spirit prays underneath us, with groans too deep for words.
Romans 8:26.
Three groans in eight verses. Creation groans. We groan. God the Spirit groans.
That is the room verse 28 is standing in.
And in that room, the sentence means something entirely different from what the card says. Paul does not write that all things are good. He does not write that everything happens for a reason. The Greek verb is synergeō, to work together, to labor alongside, and the picture is not of events being secretly fine underneath. It's of God actively at work inside the wreckage, doing something with material that is genuinely wreckage.
There's a textual detail worth knowing here. In some of the oldest manuscripts we have, including one from around 200 AD, the word "God" appears as the explicit subject of that verb. God works. Not the circumstances. Not the universe. Not karma with a Christian accent. A person, working in things that are not good, toward an end that is.
And Paul tells you what that end is. He doesn't leave it vague. The very next verse defines the good: to be conformed to the image of His Son.
Romans 8:29.
That's the promise. Not that the diagnosis reverses. Not that the marriage is saved, the job comes back, the child recovers. The promise is that you will come out of it looking more like Jesus, which is a much heavier thing to be told, and a much better one.
Read on, and Paul makes it explicit that he isn't talking about a comfortable life. He lists what he expects: trouble, hardship, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, sword.
Romans 8:35.
And then he quotes a psalm, one where the writer is accusing God of sleeping through a slaughter, and applies it to himself and his readers without softening it.
Romans 8:36, Psalm 44:22.
He is writing to Christians in Rome. Within roughly a decade, Nero will use some of them as torches in his garden. Paul himself will most likely be executed in that city. He knew what he was promising and what he wasn't.
So here's the honest version.
This verse was never meant to be handed to someone as a way of ending a conversation. It was written by a man who groaned, to people who were about to lose everything, about a God who does not stand outside the wreckage explaining it.
He is in it. Working. In the thing you would undo if you could.
You are allowed to grieve it and trust Him at the same time. Paul did both in the same paragraph.
America's money is named after a dead deer.
A buck was a deerskin. Through the 1700s hides came out of the backcountry by the hundred thousand, and on the frontier they were the currency. In 1748 a trader in Ohio recorded a cask of whisky changing hands for 5 bucks. When the dollar arrived it took the word, and it has kept it.
The scale is the point. In a good year in the 1750s Charleston alone shipped around 150,000 deerskins to London. Add Savannah, Philadelphia and New York and it runs to well over a million skins a decade. Every one had been a deer somebody put a bullet in and ate, most of them Cherokee and Creek hunters, the rest backwoodsmen who had learned from them.
In England, at the same time, a man caught armed in a deer park could be hanged under the Black Act, and a labourer with a hare in his coat lost three months' wages to the magistrate.
The deer in an English park belonged to the lord. The deer in Pennsylvania belonged to whoever shot it, and the skin bought powder and lead at the store for the next one. A single animal fed a family for a week and paid for its own replacement.
That is what the ships were sailing towards. Not an abstraction about liberty. A country where the animal that could get you hanged at home was so plentiful it had become the small change.
Every time an American says he is short of a few bucks, he is describing the one shortage his ancestors crossed an ocean to escape.
Pray with me
September 24, 2026
Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and expectation. Your Word says, “In the morning I will direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up” (Psalm 5:3).
We do not know what today will bring, but we know Who goes before us. Open doors that no one can shut. Give us wisdom for every decision, courage for every challenge, and eyes to recognize Your hand at work.
Help us not to expect according to our own plans, but according to Your goodness, Your promises, and Your perfect will. We believe You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
So today, we look up. We move forward. We trust You. And we expect to see Your goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).
In Jesus’ name, amen.
🚨 RUBIO JUST SAID THE NUMBER THEY NEVER WANTED ON TV 🚨
Americans work 40 years.
They retire.
Social Security: $800. $900. A thousand a month.
Somebody who got here from Cuba three months ago: $1,500 a month.
Marco Rubio said it out loud.
“So imagine if you’ve been working here for 40 years and your Social Security check is smaller than the benefits going to a 28-year-old, able-bodied person who just got here. That’s real. That happens. That’s happening every day. That makes no sense.”
You paid in.
They landed.
They beat your check.
That’s not compassion.
That’s a slap in the face with your own tax dollars.
In 1979, just weeks before he died, Archbishop Fulton Sheen gave his final interview to Marie Torre of WABC. The 5 most important things he said in the interview were....
1. Modern erotic culture is a failure of purpose, not merely a failure of rules.
2. Children require moral formation, not permissive abandonment disguised as freedom.
3. The human heart wants life, truth, and love in an absolute form; this desire points to God.
4. The Church cannot become credible by copying the world.
5. The family depends on sacrificial love, not mutual self-satisfaction.
When he gave this interview, no one knew it would be his last. Let us never forget his wisdom.
On this day in 1779, an American captain stood on the deck of a ship that was literally sinking under his feet, on fire, riddled with holes, half his crew dead or wounded, and when the enemy shouted across the water asking if he surrendered, he roared back a line that the United States Navy has never forgotten: "I have not yet begun to fight!" His name was John Paul Jones, and what he did that night made him the founding legend of the American navy.
Understand how insane the setting was. Jones was not defending American waters. He had taken the fight to the enemy's home, cruising in a small squadron right off the coast of England itself, terrorizing British shipping in their own front yard. His flagship was an old, worn-out French merchant vessel he had converted into a warship and renamed the Bonhomme Richard, in honor of Benjamin Franklin's "Poor Richard." It was slow, tired, and outgunned.
Off Flamborough Head, Jones ran into a British convoy escorted by a brand-new, faster, more powerful Royal Navy frigate called the Serapis. By every rational measure, Jones should have run. The Serapis was a better ship with heavier guns. Instead, Jones attacked.
The battle that followed, fought into the night under a rising moon, was one of the most savage ship-to-ship duels of the entire age of sail. Early on, disaster struck the Americans: two of the Bonhomme Richard's big old cannon burst when fired, blowing apart their own gun crews and leaving Jones dangerously short of firepower. The Serapis hammered the Richard mercilessly, its heavier guns tearing the American ship to splinters, opening holes below the waterline, setting fires. The Richard was being destroyed.
So Jones did the only thing that could save him. If he could not win a gunnery duel, he would not fight one. He drove his ship straight into the Serapis and lashed the two vessels together, hull against hull, muzzle to muzzle, so close the gun crews were practically fighting through each other's ports. Now it was not a naval battle so much as a brawl, and Jones's American and French sailors and marines could rake the enemy's decks with musket fire and grenades from the rigging.
It was in the middle of this hell, with his ship clearly sinking and afire, that the British captain called over, reasonably, to ask if the Americans had had enough and wished to strike their colors. And Jones, standing on a doomed deck, gave the answer that became immortal: he had not yet begun to fight. And he meant it.
The turning point came from above. One of Jones's men climbed out on a yardarm over the enemy ship and dropped a grenade down through an open hatch into the Serapis, where it touched off a chain of gunpowder charges. The explosion ripped through the British gun deck, killing and maiming dozens of men in an instant. The fight went out of the Serapis. Its captain, his own ship now wrecked and burning, finally surrendered.
And here is the almost unbelievable ending. John Paul Jones had won, but his own ship was beyond saving. The Bonhomme Richard was so shattered that it slowly sank over the next day, and Jones had to move his victorious crew onto the captured Serapis and sail away in the enemy's ship, because his own had gone to the bottom. He won the battle and lost his vessel, all at once.
The victory made him a hero on both sides of the Atlantic, a symbol that the infant United States could carry the war to the mightiest navy on earth and win. To this day, the Navy calls John Paul Jones its father, and it teaches new sailors his answer from that burning deck. Remember September 23, 1779, and the man who was sinking, and on fire, and outgunned, and answered a demand for his surrender by saying he had not yet begun to fight, and then proved it.
HE SAID THE QUIET PART WITH A MICROPHONE AND A FULL HOUSE.
Javier Milei walked into the United Nations and called it a useless organization that exists to feed a caste of arrogant parasites pretending to be noble bureaucrats. A day after President Trump lit that same stage on fire, Argentina’s president finished the job.
These people lecture the world about sovereignty while covering for dictatorships. They lecture about human rights while Christians get slaughtered and the UN looks the other way. Regular Americans have known this for years. Milei just refused to play along.
America First means standing with leaders who tell the truth to the people who need to hear it. Milei did that today. More of that, please.
A Psalm of Praise and Exaltation
September 23, 2026
O Lord, You are high above all the earth,
yet You draw near to those who call upon Your name.
The heavens declare Your majesty,
and the earth is filled with the evidence of Your goodness.
Before the mountains rose,
before the seas were gathered into their depths,
before the morning knew its first light,
You were God.
You are God.
And forever You shall be God.
There is none beside You.
No throne stands above Yours,
no power rivals Your strength,
no wisdom exceeds Your understanding,
and no darkness can overcome Your light.
You speak, and creation obeys.
You command the dawn to rise,
You set boundaries for the oceans,
You scatter the stars across the heavens,
and You know each one by name.
Holy, holy, holy are You, O Lord.
Perfect in righteousness,
abounding in mercy,
steadfast in love,
faithful through every generation.
I will exalt You when the morning breaks,
and I will praise You when night surrounds me.
When my hands are full, I will bless Your name.
When my hands are empty, still I will worship You.
For Your worth is not measured by what You place in my hands,
but by who You are.
You have been my refuge in trouble,
my strength when I was weary,
my wisdom when I could not see the way,
and my song when sorrow tried to silence me.
Who is like You, O Lord?
You lift the fallen.
You restore the broken.
You forgive the repentant.
You defend the weak.
You give hope to the hopeless
and breathe life into places we thought were dead.
Above all, You have revealed Your glory in Jesus Christ,
the Lamb who was slain and the King who conquered death.
At His name every knee shall bow,
and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
Therefore, let everything within me praise You.
Let my mouth declare Your goodness.
Let my hands serve Your purposes.
Let my feet walk in Your ways.
Let my heart remain steadfast before You.
Let every breath You have given me become an offering of praise.
May kings bow before You.
May nations tremble at Your holiness.
May generations yet unborn hear of Your mighty works.
May fathers tell their children,
and children tell their children,
that the Lord is good,
His mercy endures forever,
and His kingdom shall never end.
I will not give my highest praise to temporary things.
I will not bow before the idols of this age.
My hope is not in wealth, strength, applause, or power.
My hope is in the Lord,
Maker of heaven and earth.
So rise, O my soul, and bless your Creator.
Remember His faithfulness.
Remember His mercy.
Remember the cross.
Remember the empty tomb.
Remember that the King is coming again.
Let the heavens rejoice.
Let the earth be glad.
Let the redeemed lift their voices.
Let every creature declare:
Great is the Lord,
and greatly to be praised.
To You belong the glory,
the honor,
the power,
the dominion,
and the praise,
from generation to generation,
from everlasting to everlasting.
You alone are worthy.
And while there is breath in my lungs,
there will be praise on my lips.
Blessed be the name of the Lord,
now and forevermore.
Amen.
🚨BREAKING- PARENTS, READ THIS!🚨
Allegedly, Ole Miss is searching for more kids who didn't show up to class today.
Reports are that there are student Overdose deaths at Clemson, LSU, Alabama, USouthCarolina and Ole Miss.
This was just sent to all @IFC at UGA:
🚨🚨🚨🚨As I am sure you guys are starting to hear, this weekend in Oxford there were 7 deaths from overdoses at least 5 of which were fraternity men. These deaths came from cyclorphine an opioid that is stronger then fentanyl that was disguised as a Xanax and potentially also cocaine. I reached out to all of your chapter presidents but as we know to combat this we need leaders of all ages to be on the same page, strongly encourage your chapters against drug use. It is evident this new mixer has hit the SEC. With a big weekend ahead it is critical you all are proactive with your chapters regarding this issue, so getting in front of guys you know may partake in these risks is encouraged.

I will never get over Hagar giving God the name El Roi — “The God Who Sees Me.”
There is something deeply prophetic about this encounter.
Hagar was in the wilderness. She had been mistreated, rejected and sent away. She was carrying pain that nobody seemed to understand.
But in the wilderness, God found her.
She discovered something that every child of God must never forget:
You can be forgotten by people and still be fully remembered by God.
You can be overlooked by men and still be seen by heaven.
You can cry in secret and still have a God who sees every tear.
You can go through a season where nobody understands what you are carrying, yet God knows every detail.
He sees the tears you wipe before anyone notices.
He sees the prayers you whisper when you don't even have the strength to pray loudly.
He sees the rejection.
He sees the disappointment.
He sees the waiting.
He sees the battles you don't talk about.
He sees the sacrifices nobody celebrates.
He sees you.
And what makes this even more beautiful is that God didn't merely see Hagar—He spoke to her, instructed her, and revealed Himself to her.
Sometimes the wilderness is not evidence that God has abandoned you.
Sometimes it becomes the place where you discover a dimension of God you had never known before.
Hagar entered the wilderness as a woman who had been rejected, but she came out knowing Him as El Roi.
And perhaps someone reading this needs to hear this today:
God has not lost sight of you.
The season may be confusing, but He sees you.
The tears may be many, but He sees you.
The waiting may be long, but He sees you.
The doors that closed may have left you wondering what God is doing, but He sees you.
And when you cannot understand His hand, trust His heart.
This is why I cannot boast in myself.
Who can truly say:
“I am nothing without Jesus”?
I am nothing without His grace.
Nothing without His mercy.
Nothing without His presence.
Nothing without the blood of Jesus.
Everything I have, everything I am becoming, and every testimony that will ever come from my life is because of Him.
Jesus, You are not just part of my life. You are my life.
El Roi, the God who sees me.
The God who sees you.
The God who sees every hidden tear.
And the God who is still writing the story.
🚨 BREAKING: President Trump's FULL blockbuster UN speech is getting rave reviews — where he RAILED against the globalist ICC, called out the persecution of Christians, REFUSED to apologize for America First and more
The whole thing was 10/10! 🔥
TRUMP DID THE FOLLOWING:
- Called out the UN for ignoring Christian persecution worldwide while obsessing over America
- Demanded every ICC member resign immediately from that rogue anti-American tribunal
- Called Communist Cuba a failed state that will fall, then watched officials storm out
- Declared there is no human right to illegal immigration, only the right to stay a sovereign nation
- Scorched UNESCO globalists for pushing mass migration that destroys Western cultures
- Said there is NO global government and there will be NO global taxes while he is president
- Bragged that America cut the UN budget 15% and killed over 4,000 bureaucracy jobs
- Boasted of the most secure border in American history with ZERO illegal aliens admitted
- Declared America is BACK, stronger than ever, and in a GOLDEN AGE after Biden's dark age
- Mic-dropped failed globalist leaders: while others talked peace, he MADE peace
- Vowed Iran will NEVER get a nuclear weapon and said the Middle East bully is finished
- Teased a huge post-election decision: strike a deal, or annihilate the Islamic Republic
- Exposed Iran as weak and desperate, not strong, and predicted Iranian terror's end
- Slammed cowards and traitors leaking fake "low munitions" claims mid-conflict
- Took a victory lap over capturing Maduro and signing the largest oil deal in history
- Laid down the Donroe Doctrine: no threats get a foothold in the Western Hemisphere
- Refused to apologize for crushing drug cartels, calling them the ISIS of the hemisphere
- Locked in permanent Greenland security rights that shut out China, Russia, and adversary investment
- Renamed Artificial Intelligence to Super Intelligence and vowed America stays #1 over China
- Closed with a nationalist call to strengthen nations, grow economies, and God bless America
And that's just a non-exhaustive list.
This is why I voted for him. The list of accomplishments is rising and he is SAVING AMERICA 🇺🇸
As I have repeatedly explained, the Muslim Brotherhood along with their ilk have repeatedly explained that the West will be conquered through three means:
1) The womb of our women
2) Hijrah (the Arabic word for migration)
3) By using your miserable freedoms against you.
Despite screaming their conquest plans from the top of the mountain openly and brazenly, the West is steadfastly refusing to implement auto-corrective procedures to protect our civilization.
Suicidal Empathy is going to destroy us.
Christianity is not a pacifist religion.
People love to twist “turn the other cheek” as if Christ was telling His followers to be weak, timid and helpless in the face of evil. He wasn't. Christ was teaching self-control, not cowardice. It was about personal humility, not surrendering your home, your people or your faith to wickedness.
Christianity has never been pacifist. The Old Testament is filled with men of God who fought for righteousness: Joshua, David, Gideon and the Maccabees. The New Testament does not erase that reality. When Paul wrote that rulers “bear not the sword in vain,” he made it clear that force, rightly used, is ordained by God to punish evil and protect the innocent.
The great Church Fathers understood this. Augustine and Aquinas both taught that a just war is not sinful. A Christian can, and sometimes must, fight when justice and the innocent are under attack. That is not bloodlust. It is duty.
Loving your enemy does not mean surrendering to him. It means refusing to hate him even as you stop him. There is a difference between mercy and moral suicide.
Christ Himself was meek before His Father, but never before evil. He rebuked hypocrites, overturned the tables and spoke truth without compromise. The modern idea that Christians should sit quietly and let wickedness prevail is completely foreign to Scripture.
In Revelation, Christ returns not as a pacifist but as a conquering King. His robe is dipped in blood and He rides forth with the armies of heaven. That is not a soft gospel. It is judgment and victory.
Today, many have confused meekness with weakness. Too many churches preach surrender in the name of peace. But peace without righteousness is corruption. Evil does not stop because you smile at it. It stops when men of faith stand firm.
Christianity calls for courage, discipline and the defence of truth. It calls men to be warriors of light, not cowards hiding behind a false peace.
Christians are not called to live quietly beneath the boot of wickedness. We are called to resist evil, stand for what is right and remain faithful to Christ, the Lamb who will return as the Lion. 🏴
