I see it as big wonky deal! This notice of vacutor by HHS /CMS undercuts TRA oppo arguments of discrimination based on gender identity. Gender identity is not a sex-based class

The proposed rule changes to stop Federal funding to states for sex-denying treatments for minors (other than therapy) will be finalized later this year.

With sex class off the table, what will the ACLU argue? A gender dysphoric “identity” belief could be tagged as subclass of disability- but that leaves them overtly arguing for disabled men to be allowed into women’s spaces.

Is it a religion? Yes, but they won’t want to say that. Taxpayers don’t fund those either.

Disproportionate impact is off the table- the new rule proposal is based on health risk and evidence which outweighs WPATH’s pervy drive to trans the kids.

This is great timing. A very good thing here.

About repackaging Madonna as defying old age stereotypes as she continues to present herself in sexually stereotyped ways: Uh, no. You rounded the u-bend of the “self-sexualized- exploitation-to- self-empowerment” horseshoe like a NASCAR driver.

Madonna is stellar, an immensely talented pioneer of this brand. It was fantasy bullshit in 1986, and remains so. She has never stopped pursuing the male gaze. The female gaze. ANY gaze that can she could claw from pornographic themes of her naked body, fetish wear as street fashion, BDSM coffee table books, performative lesbianism to high fashion gay male icon.

The well is dry. There is no mainstream pornographic use for older women from which she can draw. Therefore she must go backward. If all she IS, is what she WAS, Madonna is performing a nightmare version of many an attractive woman’s mid-life crisis, over a decade past menopause.

We know these women. Madonna’s injected, surgically carved and stitched face shows us how unsustainable it is to prize youthful f***ability as one’s main value metric. Sure, carry on Madonna-ing.

We are no longer gazing, we are rubber-necking. No lit up “Applause” sign could compel me to cheer her on.

I’d be interested re: duplicative research subject & findings. Insider tip: note the “low level” contact person listed in the body of the grants, the unit name, & Bureau Chief signatory. Some have interesting cross careers. Another study for aggregation: how much federal criminal justice money, emergency preparedness given to states goes to “social” justice groups.

Puberty is a life stage with sex-specific commonalities. Gender dysphoria is a diagnosis. We can talk women without talking about men.
