@ClaireCarmalt The hardest part of losing my son is doing things now that I know he wouldโve enjoyed. Try to be in the moment but the sadness is always there.

@JaneCardillo I lost my son Alex in June 2020. The 300 lb weight of sadness we carry everyday is ALWAYS there. Weโve just gotten stronger to carry that weight.
@NettieSpaghett6 @KayeSteinsapir Lost my 23yr old son by a distracted driver, while riding his bike, the summer of 2020. What you said is exactly right. You just learn to live with the constant sadness.
@KayeEllen17 I lost my son 23yr old son last summer in a biking accident. I thought I was crazy because my biggest worry was knowing whether he was ok.During my hardest weeks, Iโve asked for signs from him and heโs shown them. I know it sounds wacky but it gets me through the grief. โค๏ธ
Weโve heard from many school superintendents concerned about the number of students meeting the @CDCgov definition of close contact and put into quarantine. I've asked our team to partner with the health/scientific community to study the current guidance on student quarantine.
@GovMikeDeWine@CDCgov Better late than never. A whole slew of students who have suffered academically/socially/emotionally/athletically because they did exactly what they were asked to do - keep 6โ social distance & wear a mask - and it landed them in a 14-day quarantine.
